The assassination of Charlie Kirk is igniting a flame. Even some of his harshest critics are rethinking their cause. They can no longer deny his integrity and generous demeanor. They can no longer doubt his dedication to Christ, which cost him his life. Some who decried his beliefs in the past are now turning their minds, as well as their hearts, to God. Some are calling it the Charlie Kirk Effect.
But even as a flame is being lit, some are feeling lost and disoriented. Now recognizing a spiritual enemy and level of wickedness that is more than just political or ideological, an entire generation is wrestling with questions about their own place and purpose in the midst of such warfare.
The night Charlie was killed, I asked the Lord to speak to me through dreams if there was anything I could pass on for their strengthening. He did. And through the dreams, the Holy Spirit directed me to a specific line in Psalm 23 as a PROMISE and CHARGE for this generation:
“I Have Prepared a Table Before You in the Presence of Your Enemies!”
“You need not fear this shadow of death that is threatening you, or the dark forces that seek to destroy your VOICE and your WITNESS. For I AM with you. You are not alone in this battle! I will lead you through this darkness and direct your paths.
Where you have been dismissed and overlooked, and given no seat at the table, I will give you a seat at tables that once turned you away. Where you have had no VOICE and not been heard, I will magnify your voice, and it will reverberate through the airwaves with the sounds of FREEDOM. I will anoint your head with the oil of My presence and power, and you will know the depth of My Goodness.
The enemies of God will no longer silence those who speak My words. The attacks against MY VOICES will backfire as I raise YOUR voice in the airwaves. The voices of this next generation of firebrands and champions will silence the enemies of God and dismantle their reign of terror.
Look to Me. Draw from Me. I will lead you through this valley, and these enemies of Light will fall to your left and to your right. Not by the might of men, or by the power of flesh, but by the Spirit of the Living God that will SPEAK THROUGH YOU.”
