In the Glory of the Son

No longer tormented by her past, she knows My Love is real and that it will last.

Dedicated to all the mamas who have lost a daughter:

Oh, how I wish that

I could turn back the hands of time,

when she was little, once again

and she was truly mine.

When she would sing and dance

and joy and laughter filled the air,

how I wish I could go back in time

and once again, be there.

To see the true joy again upon her face

and to hear the sound of her voice,

if you asked me today what I’d like to do

this would be my answer, this would be my choice.

Oh, My child, don’t you see

she’s singing and dancing but now with Me,

no longer hampered by physical pain

she’s free to laugh, her joy’s restored again.

No longer tormented by her past,

she knows My Love is real and that it will last.

I’ve removed the sadness from her heart,

she’ll know it no more, for we’ll never be apart.

She’s finally standing tall and strong

she finally knows she belongs,

she’s not an outcast to be thrown away

she’s Chosen by Me, and forever with Me, she’ll stay.

One day you, too, will join her here

where all will be restored,

no more sorrow, no more pain

just joy and love between you poured!

The enemy sought to keep you apart

he knew the power within,

but he holds NO power at My Throne

and you’ll see, even in your bond, he didn’t win.

Listen not to his lies

don’t believe even one,

you’ll both be standing side by side

in the Glory of The Son!
