Imaginary Cages

He gave His Life to set you free.

Posted on

You are complete in Christ

And did you know you’ve been set free?

No longer are you bound up tight

But you now have liberty!

Regret and condemnation,

Guilt, defeat, and shame

Have had you living in the past,

Along with fear and blame.

Believing lies you thought were true

Have caused distress and doubt,

But did you know, oh precious child,

Jesus came to sort things out.

The enemy has locked you up

And thinks he has the key,

But you, dear one,

Have been made new;

For you are free indeed!

Those imaginary cages

Entrapped within your mind;

He’ll tear them down.

Give them to Him,

And leave them all behind.

He gave His Life

To set you free;

To heal your hurts and more.

He is the Way, the Truth,

The Life,

And all you’re longing for!

“For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide.”

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 – TPT
