His Love is a Consuming Fire

On October 29, while sitting and talking with the Lord, I saw the Lord walking amongst many fires raging against His people.

I saw many surrounded by fires that are impossible to put out.

Some of you are trying to put out large fires, and some are trying to battle many small ones simultaneously. You have been trying to manage the large fires because they cannot be quenched, and at the same time, you are trying to put the smaller ones out. You are bombarded with issues, surrounded, demanding your attention. Too much energy is spent on these distractions. They are the enemy’s assignments; your attention is not on what you want and need to do.

I saw the Lord Jesus stomping out these fires surrounding you in this hour.

I heard the phrase, “Too hot to handle.” He is stomping out these fires for you. The fires are too much for you to fight and manage. You are tired.

Many of you feel your circumstances are impossible and want to give up. Don’t!

Your Savior, Jesus, is in your midst.

Remember, in the Bible, the story of the three men who were thrown into a fire? Jesus showed up; He was the 4th man in the fire. The fire was meant to consume and destroy Shadrack, Meshach, and Abednego, and it could not.

Read these scriptures in Daniel 3:

27 “And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was a hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.”

I hear, “The fire will not overcome you because I Am your consuming fire.”

Hebrews 12:29

“…for our God is a consuming fire.”

I saw the Lord’s face with such compassion for those dealing with what seems to be unending battles of many sorts. You have had no relief and see none in sight, but Jesus IS there.

He has come to your rescue. Won’t He do it for you!

Watch Him. The Lord is stomping out the fires the enemy meant to destroy you and setting your faith in Him ablaze. What you cannot do, He will do for you. Thank You, Jesus. All Glory and Praise belong to You alone.

I saw you being taken into the arms of Jesus after he stomped out your fires. He heard your cries. Your enemy will see his plans against you destroyed just as those who prepared the fire to destroy Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Their enemy saw them come out of the fire untouched. You are coming out of this untouched too.

Isaiah 43: 2

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and if by the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you pass through the fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flame burn you.”

Alleluia! The Lord God Almighty Reigns!
