His glory and honor
Wisdom and might
Is found in His Bride
And made ready for flight.
She is now righteous
And waiting for Him
She’s redeemed by His blood
And He’s taken her sin.
Oh, the workers are few
But the harvest is here
‘Cause there’s signs all around
The Bridegroom is so near.
She sparkles in Him
Like jewels once described
When John caught a glimpse
Of the Holy City in sight.
She’s now listening and leaning
And waiting each day;
She’s alert and awake
To what her Savior might say.
She knows His return
Is right at the door
She’s His witness and servant
And is being sent forth.
Oh, it will be worth it all
What a day that will be
When Jesus calls for His Bride;
For you and for me!
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9
“And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.” Revelation 21:21
“And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.”
Revelation 21:2
