Becoming righteous in Him, we lean into Him, who teaches.
No longer leaning on the arm of flesh, we trust in His grace.
Redeemed from lawless deeds, He purifies as His Own.
A chosen generation, and a peculiar people, He teaches.
As the Cornerstone, He builds us together as living stones.
Teaching us to deny worldly lusts, we live soberly in His sight.
No longer bound with chains of bondage, we’re set free.
Loosed from the devil’s hold, His grace teaches freedom.
No longer using liberty for fleshly appetites, we freely submit.
Tasting His graciousness, we desire His milk to grow in grace.
Setting our sights on His coming, His grace teaches hope.
No longer bogged down in depression, we hope in Him.
With burdens lifted, He takes us by the hand, leading us.
The eternal weight of His glory before us, He imparts faith.
Showing us wonders of His grace to come, we glorify Him.
Filled with faith and assurance, He teaches us to be zealous.
Zealous for good works, He imparts grace for works ahead.
Divine abilities imparted; grace reveals abilities unknown.
His divine nature taking root, grace is unlimited in all done.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, as my heart fills with Your grace, allow it to teach me all that You desire to bring forth in my life. Help me live soberly in Your sight, resting on the hope of Your salvation. Allow Your eternal weight of glory to impart faith to my life.
