Fearless Faith

God has no limits on His reliability.

‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Isaiah 41:10 (NASB)

Today’s verse recently reminded me of the faith of our children in us as parents, in times when we played, and in times when a cuddle was needed. They knew then and still know now that Mum and Dad are always there for them. We were on the receiving end of this from a dear friend whom we shared recent trials with; he and his lovely wife came alongside us and held us up – they strengthened us. Our kids knew we would come through for them; they had no fear of rejection, and we had no fear of rejection from our friends. Faith was evident in both cases.

Human reliability, though, has its limits, but God has no limits on His reliability. Our verse is the spoken promise of our Father God every day, in the good and bad times. There are many encouraging verses in the Bible that we can read about His faithfulness and compassion; they are our constant reminders that He loves us and is nearby.

Dear Reader, we need not fear the trials of our lives, whether they be big or small. Our Father God holds us in His hands.
