No one talks about hell anymore. It’s been years since I’ve even heard a sermon on hell. I think we have spent a lot of time encouraging people and trying to edify them that we forget there is something called repentance, and if you don’t do it and you continue to live life without Jesus, then hell awaits.
Here’s the deal. Heaven waits for you! Heaven wants you! Heaven wants you to experience HEAVEN ON EARTH! Heaven longs to hear from you! There is a plan in Heaven, and Holy Spirit, breath of God wants to bring it to pass in your life.
On the day you were born, you were gifted with certain qualities that would pave the way for your success. But when you partner with HEAVEN, you will experience supernatural prosperity. What? Prosperity? Yes! Do you know what it means to prosper?
Jeremiah 29:11 says, I know the plans I have for you, plans to do GOOD to you, to PROSPER you and give you a future!
This is the will of heaven! To prosper is to give you a breakthrough, so you can break-forth and then break-out! Heaven wants you healed in spirit, soul, and body! Heaven wants you to be FREE of every bondage, every addiction, every stronghold, and every demonic force that comes against you. Jesus has given you the weapons to fight the good fight!
But guess what? Hell waits for you! Hell wants you! Hell wants you to experience HELL ON EARTH! Hell longs to hear from you. Hell has a plan for you. Hell wants to kill, steal, and destroy. It offers you false peace, false identity, false hope, and false love. Why is it false? Because it doesn’t last. Here’s the deal. What HEAVEN has for you….. here on earth….well…it lasts! But what HELL has for you….here on earth….it never lasts, it always ends, and might I add…it ends badly!
Not to say that as a follower of Jesus we won’t encounter problems, trouble, and losses along the way……but even in the worst of circumstances, the end is still good for the believer because HEAVEN waits for them!
I had a vision today! It was darkness….it was cold…..shivering cold to the bone…..at the same time it was fiery flames of heat consuming the souls of many!
Then I saw another picture. Remember LOT and Sodom and Gomorrah? Lot “pitched his tent” toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and eventually his heart went where his mind took him. But when the angel of the Lord came to him to SAVE them, they were told, DON’T LOOK BACK OR YOU WILL BE CONSUMED! Lot’s wife looked back, but Lot looked forward. He looked ahead, firm and straight ahead!! And he was SAVED!!
That’s the same message today! To be a follower of Jesus doesn’t mean you don’t have problems, and you don’t sin, or you don’t mess up from time to time. What it means to be saved is to turn your back on the World and not look back! It means I now have my eyes on Jesus and I am hidden inside of HIM. His blood covers me! Again, your heart will lead you if you let it! But from experience, the heart doesn’t lead well. But the HOLY SPIRIT ALWAYS LEADS WELL!
Listen to the Holy Spirit and turn your back on the world!
Jesus said He has come to convict the WORLD of their sins! In other words, He has come to convince you to “turn your back” on the world and the ways of the world. He wants YOU! HEAVEN WANTS YOU! Heaven wants you to experience the power of pure, holy living while you are here on this earth, and it has no end!
But Hell wants you to experience a good time with no boundaries that lead to death. This death will last forever! It’s called HELL!
Have you lost your way? Did you once know the power of HEAVEN? You know all about Jesus, but the wounds of your heart left an open door for HELL to lure you and turn your face toward the world once again. But the end, my friend is not good! COME HOME! Heaven is calling out! THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS CALLING OUT…COME HOME!
Are you tired? Are you weary? All you have to do is… turn your eyes toward JESUS! Immediately, when you “turn” toward HIM…you turn your back on the World! To repent is an ACTION. Before you even confess, your HEART must TURN TOWARD JESUS! To repent means to have a “changed mind, a changed heart, a change of direction!” To repent means, I don’t want the world anymore, I want something that is real! I don’t want the ways of the world, I want what is real!
Now, for all of you who are afraid of losing your salvation! You have NOTHING to worry about when you have “pitched your tent” toward heaven! When you have turned your eyes toward Jesus, or when your face is “bent” toward HIM! Remember, being a Christian, a follower of Jesus, doesn’t mean I don’t mess up, or never have doubt, or miss the mark from time to time, NO! But being a follower of JESUS is turning your back on the WORLD and turning your FACE TOWARD JESUS! TOWARD HEAVEN! TOWARD ETERNITY! TOWARD HOPE! TOWARD LOVE! TOWARD POWER! TOWARD FORGIVENESS! TOWARD A PROSPEROUS PATH!
WHO AM I TALKING TO? DO YOU NEED PRAYER? ARE YOU READY TO COME HOME? If so, I am here waiting for you to pray with you, to help you! Heaven is waiting for you! Holy Spirit is drawing you to this post!
Remember…there is an expiration date to sin, but there is no expiration date to LOVE!
