Don’t Get Stuck There

The only reason you’re going through the valley is to load up provisions, get resources, and gain experience.

A VALLEY IS JUST A PLACE BETWEEN TWO MOUNTAINS.

Whatever you do… don’t stop there… don’t camp there… don’t get stuck there! GO through there! God has much more for you than you imagine, but it will require you to move up and inhabit the high places. This is your Kairos moment. This is your opportune time of elevation, release, and glory to glory. This is the beginning of the finishing!

To get from one high place to the next, you will need to cross valleys! That’s just geography — A VALLEY IS A PLACE BETWEEN TWO MOUNTAINS. Valleys can feel easier to settle in, but you have been called to scale mountains, conquer them, and establish for the Lord. Your blessing, your hopes, and your victory have been prepared for you and are waiting on the mountain over the valley.

Anyone can praise God on the mountaintops of His goodness while asking for more outpouring in their life, but many times the journey of trust that leads a person there requires one to rise up and follow Him through difficult valleys. We are in such a time. This is the beginning of the finishing! Revival is brooding across the world, and the birthing is well under way. Don’t get distracted by the abortion spirit, give in to the desertion spirit, nor get tempted by the self-righteous religious spirit. It’s time to take possession of the things God has promised. Come up the hill of the Lord! Look not to the difficulties of the journey and pain of the birthing process, but to the promise of the destination.

I can assure you that God knows the way to your next HIGHER place. Anyone moving forward will have to walk THROUGH some valleys… Yes, even scary valleys… but you should never need to fear! In such a place, it is good to remind yourself… I will fear no evil; for MY GOD is with me! [Psalm 23:4]. Someone once said: Mountain tops are where we come to meet God, but it’s in the valleys that God comes to meet us!… It’s in the valleys that He picks us up and shows us the way He wants us to go! Maybe you need to say out loud:… ‘GOD IS STILL WITH ME!’… to remind yourself the journey is not over!

No matter where you are…. He leads you! Even when you must walk THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death… the Lord is still your Shepherd, and you will still not want for anything! [Psalm 23:4, 1] Valleys can seem easy, safe, and comfortable, but that is not always true. Their assurances are weak. Their walls block the sun and cast long shadows over all the land. Much of the day, valleys can be dark, cold, difficult, visionless, and hopeless places where seeing the horizon is nearly impossible. It’s easy to get discouraged there. It’s easy to lose focus there. Enemies love to attack those wandering through the valleys, because they are easily trapped. But not you… you know the mountain is under your feet. You know your God is with you!

You were not made to exist in valleys! You are called to rule on mountains. You know that the only reason you’re going through the valley is to load up provisions, get resources, and gain experience. You will never leave a valley poorer than when you entered it. Never let a valley experience convince you to remain in a place God wanted you to travel through to your next mountain. Trust God… get up… journey on… God is faithful… if He said you will get there… you will get there! If God said it… you can (MUST) believe it!

Regardless of where you are with God today, remember that He has set a path for your good… if it’s not good yet… it may mean you’re just in a valley… the journey is not over… God is not done yet … keep going… make sure you stay close to God and He will complete what He has started! Let the Spirit lead you!

All things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. [Romans 8:28] In Him… Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; The glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken. [Isaiah 40:4-5]

If you find yourself standing on a new mountaintop today… AWESOME… YAY… but don’t forget to thank God for the valleys He brought you through!

—–BUT IF—–

If you’re in a valley right now… don’t be sad… rather REJOICE… God will NEVER leave you nor forsake you… look up… and get ready to climb… GLORY, BEAUTY, WONDER, and AMAZEMENT are coming!

Don’t make your home in a valley when God wants to lead you to the mountain!… If God WANTS TO TAKE YOU THERE… TRUST ME… it is good… and you WANT TO BE THERE!!
