Recently, I was spending time in prayer in the sanctuary at our church early one morning. As I was seeking the Lord, I heard him say, “Create.” When He spoke this to me, I remembered many of the ways God has been speaking to me over the last several months about the creativity and calling He has for His people in this season.

I believe that God right now is releasing strategic, creative ideas and prophetic direction for many people in the body of Christ. This is a season where God is looking for those who are willing to partner with His vision and creative plan for them. Not only to see the Kingdom of God advanced in their lives but through them as well.

Everything that my wife, Autumn, and I have ever done in ministry or business has come from a word from God. When you are a child of God, you are a creative person who is called to create because you have the Creator of the Universe living inside of you! Those who operate in the apostolic and prophetic hear a word from God and then they build upon that word. Then they hear another word and build upon that. This pattern goes on and on as you continue to partner with God to see His Kingdom and His will come forth in your life.

The Bible is full of stories of men and women who were given a divine idea from God and then by His spirit, they partnered with Him to see those things manifested in the earth. The Lord has a design and a plan for everything, including your life and your vocation. How many people are sitting on prophetic words from God that are full of creative ideas, dreams, and visions from the Lord that are simply lying dormant because no one is acting upon them?

That prophetic word that you may just be sitting on probably has God’s purpose and plan for your future, and other people’s blessings, tied up in them. Now is the time for you to activate those prophetic promises with faith and action! Whenever God puts something in your heart to do, don’t look at it as if it’s an option, an opinion, or just a good thought. God doesn’t sit around in heaven and speak to people about what may be a good idea! No! God strategically reveals creative solutions and ideas to His people in order for them to manifest them in the earth.

Unfortunately, there are many unbelievers who have accomplished amazing things simply because they were willing to work toward and steward the creative visions they had even though they did not know they came from God. I’ve seen people who claim to be atheists that had a dream to create something and they made it a reality because they were willing to work for it and put action to it. Many worldly people succeed simply because they rely on their God-given talent and ability. While many believers sit idle thinking they are waiting on God. While in reality, God is actually waiting on them!

In this season, God is calling His people to create. Take those prophetic dreams, words, and visions and start working toward them. You cannot fail if you work like it all depends on you but pray like it all depends on God. Supernatural success is waiting on you! Many expect God to do everything while they sit back and watch it happen. God will bless and multiply your efforts but you must be creative in this season!  What are you going to do with what God has inside of you?

I want to encourage you to determine what it is that God has put inside of you and go after it in this season! Go forth and be creative as you create with the Lord.
