Everything Needed

God will ensure that one will never be short on what is needed to accomplish His task.

so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Corinthians 1:7

In order to accomplish any task or job, one needs certain items or abilities. Good employers will ensure that their workers have everything that is needed in order to get the job completed. This can include physical items as well as the proper training. There are times in which a person is not supplied all that is needed, and problems arise, keeping the job from being accomplished in the correct manner.

Paul opens his first letter to the Corinthian church telling them that they have been confirmed in Christ so that they would not be missing any needed gift while waiting for the return of Jesus.

Talents or abilities are needed to do anything. Some tasks require a lot more abilities and material things than other tasks require. Coming up short on what is needed is very disappointing and discouraging. It causes one to feel like a failure and worthless. In situations where one is short on needs, many will give up and move on to something else.

Believers have a great task of being a witness in this world. Billions of people need to hear about Jesus. While no one person can reach everyone, every person can reach some. It takes some gifts from God in order to reach those one meets.

God, through His Holy Spirit, has given each believer certain gifts that are needed to accomplish the great commission that has been given. These can be the fruit of the Holy Spirit, along with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

One needs to seek God to get the proper gift needed to be the witness required in the moment. God will ensure that one will never be short on what is needed to accomplish His task.

Every time you do a job there are certain things needed to finish the job. It is important that you have everything needed. Your greatest job in this life is being a witness for Jesus to a lost and dying world. This is the most basic call God has placed upon your life. In His love and mercy, God is also willing to give you everything you need to do the job He has called you to do. Rely upon His gifts to be His witness as you continue to wait for His return.

Today I pray that you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; that you will know the gifts God has for you; that you will do the work God has for you to do; and that God will use you to reach many for Him.
