How is this possible to walk as Jesus did when we are earthly, fleshy men/women? The Holy Spirit teaches us how to walk and helps us in our weakness. It’s a life-walk of yielding.
When we live in Him, we walk like Him, for we are not the one walking, He’s walking through us.
- How we act is how we walk. “Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble.” (1 John 2: 10)
- Walking in darkness is walking in confusion and hate. “Whoever hates his brother is in darkness and walks around in the darkness; He does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him. (1 John 2: 11)
- If you’re lost, look to the Light.
- How do we keep walking in the light when all darkness is around us? “See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it dies, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.” (1 John 2: 24-25)
- Remain in Him.

Fearful Consequences Realized
The Psalmist is crying out asking, “…You have rejected, you have spurned, you have been very angry with your anointed one. O Lord, where is your former great love, which in your faithfulness you swore to David? Remember, Lord, how your servant has been mocked how I bear in my heart, the taunts of all the nations, the taunts with which your enemies have mocked, O Lord, with which they have mocked every step of your anointed one.” (Psalm 89: 38, 50-51)
- Pray for restoration and mourn any downfall to avoid unnecessary consequences.
God’s covenant with David was everlasting and unconditional; although if any royal descendants are unfaithful he will individually suffer under God’s rod.

A King Walks With The Lord
King Josiah walked with the Lord. He destroyed all the idols and did right in the eyes of God and of men. He celebrated the “Passover had not been observed like this in Israel since the days of the prophet Samuel; and none of the kings of Israel had ever celebrated such a Passover as did Josiah, with the priests, the Levites and all Judah and Israel who were there with the people of Jerusalem.” (2 Chronicles 35: 18)
- Walking with God means walking with Israel. There must be no separation.
