While spending time in the place of prayer, the Lord gave me a tremendous prophetic word. It was early in the morning and I was experiencing some warfare, which does not bother me because if you do anything worthwhile for the kingdom of Heaven, you will at some point experience this. Our church was hosting an event the following day, and I was feeling a spiritual attack trying to come. Even my intercessors reached out to me expressing these same kinds of feelings, but, strangely, I felt an immense amount of peace and calmness about everything.
I woke up the day of the event and immediately heard the word, “Unfazed”. The Lord told me to continue to repeat that, so I continued to say, “I’m unfazed, I’m unfazed, I’m unfazed” When the enemy comes in and tries to disrupt the flow of what God is doing, be unfazed. If the enemy tries to cause division, be unfazed. We have to live a life that is unfazed by the things of the flesh.
Over the last 2-3 years I have seen more people walk away from their kingdom assignments because they let every single attack of the enemy faze them. The definition of unfazed is, “Not confused, not worried, and not shocked by something that has occurred” The Bible says that in this life we are going to have trials and tribulations, but amidst those, we will also have peace and joy.
Psalms 112:6-8, “Their circumstances will never shake them and others will forget their example. They will not live in fear or dread of what may come, for their hearts are firm, ever secure in their faith. Steady and strong, they will not be afraid, but will calmly face their every foe until they all go down in defeat.” Understand this, when someone is going through something, be unfazed so that they can borrow your faith until they build their own.
Is that not what the body of Christ is for? We are supposed to let our faith build others, and in times when we need faith, they will be there to build ours too.
In life, things are going to happen that are hard to comprehend in the natural, but we so often forget that God’s ways are higher than our ways and his thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Some people will go through things, but we are called to grow through things because growth is about gaining wisdom and knowledge through every situation in life. That is why it is vital to become unfazed by things the enemy may try to send your way because if you let every little natural hardship slow you down, you won’t ever see the fruit of what God has in store for you.
When you place complete and total confidence in the Lord, you are unfazed by what the enemy is trying to do. In this season, focus on growth instead of worrying about how you are going to defend yourself against the enemy. Spoiler alert, the enemy is under our feet, he has already been defeated, therefore, we should be unfazed by his weak attacks because we serve a mighty God.
I declare strength over each and every one of you and I declare that you will be unfazed by any attacks from the enemy because we have complete and total peace in the name of Jesus.
