Tick—Tock! Tick—Tock!

Time to stop procrastinating and time to start doing the work of an evangelist!

I once saw a large clock ticking loudly.

Unlike many large clocks, there were three hands indicating hours, minutes, and seconds.

The hour hand stood straight up. The minute hand stood almost as straight. The second hand moved everything into that final minute before midnight.

“The clock has passed the hours. It has passed the minutes. It is down to the last few seconds.” said The LORD.

“So little time left before The Marriage of the Bride and Groom. So many guests still to accept their invitations.

Time to go into the highways and byways to invite whoever you find there to attend the wedding.

Time to take to the streets to tell a hurting people about Me!

Time to stop procrastinating and time to start doing the work of an evangelist!

When will My People realize the lateness of the hour?

When will they listen to My Prophets?

When will they understand the urgency of the times?”

I said, “My Spirit is uneasy, LORD!”

He replied, “That’s because you have a Word from Me —- and you can’t decipher it!” says He with a chuckle.

“Don’t fret about it. It will come clear and then you will tell the world just how close it is to My return for My Bride.”

The LORD brought to mind this passage which was once read over me as a prophecy.

So, now I read it over each and every one of you prophetically — 2 Timothy 4:1-5

“I charge you therefore before God and The LORD Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season.

Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching!

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. “

I have never been the same since then. Neither will you!

Having once read and understood this Scripture, The LORD will change your life forever!

The LORD is calling each of us individually to His service during this coming season.

It matters little whether you are in ministry or not. Whether out on the streets or in your own home, be ready to share a little about Jesus.

That’s all He asks.

“I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:1-5 NKJV
