In this season, of what seems to be relentless assaults by the enemy, the Lord is stirring the Waters! So many times we fail to realize that the enemy is attacking us because God is doing something! The enemy is often on the move in an attempt to thwart or stop the process of something that God is in the process of within our personal lives.
What many don’t realize, is that even when it seems as though nothing is going on, God is in the process of actively changing our lives from the inside out, even when we can’t see it or perceive it.
As the Waters are being stirred up inside of us, there will be several things happening virtually at the same time:
1. Everything hidden in the depths of our lives begins to surface. God will stir up everything that’s in your life that needs to be removed, but in order to make that happen it has to be brought to the surface so that it can be seen, scooped off, and removed.
2. The Stagnation that has set into the waters of your life must come to an end. There’s a fresh perspective that comes from the movement of the waters, and as it moves, Life is restored where stagnation and apathy once resided.
3. Healing begins to flow from the Presence of God as He’s stirring the waters. As a result of the stagnation and apathy, and often infirmity sets up residency as well, things that shouldn’t be allowed in your life somehow get a foothold. As the stirring commences all of it begins to surface and the Holy Spirit begins the process of rooting it all out.
No one likes to have the normal course of their lives disturbed, but when God begins to stir you up, He’s doing it for your good, not for evil. It is to bring life to your existence and remove anything that’s holding you back from it.
Expect things in your life to be stirred up as you ask the Lord to come into your circumstances more, and He touches the situations confronting you. As He does this, things will surface that you may not want to see, that have been buried deep in the existence of your life.
These things may be things that you’ve forgotten about, things that caused you discomfort and pain, but God is causing them to surface so that He can permanently remove them and bring you Life once again.
When they surface, don’t push them back down, allow the Lord to scoop them away from the surface as they come forth, and watch as He heals the waters of your life in the process.
