The Only One

The Word of God needs to stop taking a backseat in The House of the Lord.

ME-centered services might make you feel good, but they sure won’t change you.

I don’t need a pep talk.

I don’t need to wait in line to hear about what’s coming in my next season.

I know WHO is coming.

Let’s talk about that.

I don’t need the sweating, screaming, and hopping up and down.

We don’t need theatrics.

We need Holy Spirit.

We need The Word of the Lord.

We need conviction.

We need repentance.

We need gratitude.

Less about us.

Jesus help us – we need a whole lot less about us.

More about Him.

It’s supposed to be about HIM.

If you think you’re theology is perfect, you’re already wrong.

By the way….perfect theology doesn’t save you.

Sound theology is important – but it surely isn’t what saves you.

Sacred names won’t save you.

Tulip won’t save you.

Casting out demons won’t save you.

Laying hands on the sick won’t save you.

Tithing won’t save you.

A $300 Bible won’t save you.

Knowing every verse in scripture won’t save you.

Studying it in Hebrew and Greek won’t save you.

Missionary work won’t save you.

A Facebook pulpit won’t save you.

Your pastor won’t save you.

Feeding the homeless won’t save you.

Playing on the worship team won’t save you.

Your Jesus T-shirt collection won’t save you.

Catchy Jesus memes won’t save you.

Celebrating Christmas won’t save you.

Celebrating The Feasts won’t save you.

Operating in the gifts won’t save you.

Being a good person won’t save you.

JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE WHO SAVES!
