When an oxen detects a predator it shifts its hump distributing fatty oil all over its body. This is its God-given defense mechanism. When the predator attacks it slips off due to the oil seeping through the oxen’s skin.
The Bible says in Psalms 92:10
But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.
Notice the words The Lord has breathed here. I have read this before but the writer likened it to a Buffalo. However, the Lord did not say Buffalo. He said Ox.
A Buffalo is always male.
An Oxen can be male or female.
Both produce this oil.
Hebrews 1:9
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.
Just like when the enemy comes with his claws upon us, he will slip because of the oil.
This is the anointing of Holy Spirit, that God has poured upon us.
These are Jesus words…
Luke 48: 18-19
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Matthew 10:8
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out devils: freely have you received, freely give.
But we can’t stop there. We must walk this out fully.
It’s not simply casting out demons, and seeing people walk out of wheelchairs. We must bring them the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Matthew 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Be wise with God’s oil upon you in this hour.
Matthew 25:1-10
Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.
For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in flasks along with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep.
But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’
Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. The foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
But the wise answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’ And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.
Love righteousness.
Hate wickedness.
Be separate from the world.
Heal the sick.
Raise the dead.
Cleanse the leper.
Cast out demons.
Give freely, and from a generous heart.
Share the gospel.
Baptize people into Christ Jesus.
Disciple.
Pray for wisdom.
James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
1 Kings 3: 10-14
10 It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this. 11 And God said to him, “Because you have asked this, and have not asked for yourself long life or riches or the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern what is right, 12 behold, I now do according to your word. Behold, I give you a wise and discerning mind, so that none like you has been before you and none like you shall arise after you. 13 I give you also what you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that no other king shall compare with you, all your days. 14 And if you will walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.
Protect the oil that was placed upon you.
The world has nothing to offer.
Be wise in this hour.
Be ready to get your hands dirty.
Get in the trenches.
