With the events of this week still being fresh in my mind, I heard the Phrase above in my Spirit as soon as I awakened. When I heard it, I immediately went to the Word of God to look at it in context…
“You offspring of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil (wicked)? For out of the fullness (the overflow, the [a]superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man from his inner good treasure [b]flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse [c]flings forth evil things. But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every [d]idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak.” Matthew 12:34-36
While I’m not surprised at all that someone shot Charlie Kirk, because he was preaching the Truth everywhere that he went, and he was such a great witness for Jesus Christ, what I found truly appalling was the celebration from the democratic and liberal community abroad over such a horrible situation!
As many are mourning for this incredible voice of reason and Truth, others were almost joyful about him being taken out of the public sphere, because Charlie was a Beacon of Light in this present darkness, and the enemy doesn’t do anything in the Light except have his agendas being exposed by that Light!
These people who were rejoicing at his demise have completely exposed themselves for what they really are, just as Jesus Christ spoke about these same kinds of individuals in His day as the “Offspring of Vipers!”
These individuals aren’t just speaking evil things, (at their cores), their hearts are wrong and Jesus Christ exposed the motivations of their hearts as being such for He said that, “A GOOD TREE BEARS GOOD FRUIT AND A BAD TREE BEARS WORTHLESS FRUIT!” Matthew 7:17
“Why do you misunderstand what I say? It is because you are unable to hear what I am saying. [You cannot bear to listen to My message; your ears are shut to My teaching.] You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false.” John 8:43-44
The Lines are being drawn in this generation, and social media has definitely done one major thing for society as a whole, for it has given everyone the opportunity to expose what’s really in their hearts to emerge for all of the world to see!
There’s a showdown coming between the Sons and Daughters of God and the sons and daughters of the demonic realm, between the Light and the Darkness, between the Truth and the lies of the enemy, but for every Charlie Kirk that’s taken out, 1000 more will be raised up to replace him!
Those vipers will be trampled in the end by the Sons and Daughters of God, not because I said it, but because the Word of God says it…
“Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.” Luke 10:19
