The Lord of the Harvest is Coming

His rain of righteousness is coming, and that which was once barren and riddled with curses of destruction will be flourishing gardens of hope.

Breaking up fallow or unploughed ground can be hard work—sooo much effort … blood, sweat, and tears. Sometimes the ”toughness” of this season can put you off and discourage you to feel like nothing is happening, you are spinning your wheels, or you are laboring in vain. But I want to encourage you the burning desire within you to see harvests of righteousness come forth in barren places in your life that have not born fruit of the kingdom is going to come forth.

“Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.” Hosea 10:12 NKJV

The Lord is rerouting generational cycles in this hour. He is causing his people to break up ground that hasn’t born fruit of the kingdom (righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost) in their lives. As you sow seeds of obedience and do things God’s way, you make way for generations that follow to walk in paths of blessings. As you respond to the Father’s call to seek Him, he will respond in pouring and raining on those seeds of obedience and bring forth fruits of righteousness in your life, your children’s, and your children’s children.

Consistent tilling can be wearisome as, yes, some ground is harder to break up than others. Some ground seems unresponsive and resistant to the plow. Some ground has more thorns and thistles, more rocks and stones than others. But know no ground is unredeemable, and no heart is unreachable.

This is an hour of acceleration and the Lord says that the harvest is going to overtake the plowman. Amos 9:13. Expect to see breakthrough come in those things and areas you have labored to see God’s righteousness come forth in.

His rain of righteousness is coming, and that which was once barren and riddled with curses of destruction will be flourishing gardens of hope.

Momentum of breakthrough is coming. Keep your hand to the plow, that which you have labored to see burst forth in your life and your family’s life, in whatever hard ground it is you have been laboring to see breakthrough of the kingdom, know it’s coming.

Wilbur Wilberforce labored for over 20 years to see a break in the hard hearts in regard to slavery. It was unplowed ground. It was fallow ground that was not producing harvests of the kingdom. But then, finally, something broke, and the hard ground became a place for seeds of righteousness to be sown.

Know your labors are for generation’s sake. The breaking through of hard ground always brings a turning. The choice to believe in a barren place causes The Son of righteousness to arise with healing in his wings. The choice to contend for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven in a place or heart where everything but heaven is will see a breakthrough that will last for generations.

“Behold, the Lord God will come with might, and His arm will rule for Him. Behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him. Isaiah 40:10 AMPC
