Did you know that a tiny, little mustard seed produces a huge tree not only to view but a place so birds perch there? Never despise the little things in life that we do for others. What may seem like a small deed to us, is huge in the Kingdom of God. A little deed is a delicate part, essential for vision to be protected.
We’ve learned that God guards and calls us the “apple of His eye.” Where did that phrase come from? The “little man of his eye” is our pupil, which is a delicate part of the eye, also essential for vision and must be protected at all costs.
As we cry out for those we love, God hears our plea. Abraham wanted Isaac, his son, to find a wife, from his own country. He sends forth his servant to find her with a very specific request, that many will confirm, “This is from the Lord.” It was essential for his eyes to see and confirm this was the girl. “Without saying a word, the servant watched her closely to learn whether or not the Lord made his journey successful.” (Genesis 24: 21) When we walk with God, we see through His eyes, what is right.
Seeing through His eyes enables us to see people, that He wants, to make the way for those to enter through the narrow door; a door that God longs for many to walk through. He yearns to gather His children, but many are still not willing. May we see with essential vision, (His vision), when to plant the seed, or just water it.
