The Greater Is Coming

In times of prayer, I have felt a stirring in my spirit recently. The Lord has been speaking to me about how there are some truly powerful things on the horizon for the body of Christ in this season. I truly believe that, in this season, greater is coming. What do I mean by that? I mean that in every aspect of your life, you should be anticipating, expecting, and preparing for the next level. The greater is coming and you must prepare for it now.

I believe greater knowledge, wisdom, understanding, insight, friendships, abundance, health, and wholeness are your portion! The question in this season is not are greater things coming. The question is are you prepared and in position for the greater?

Anytime the Lord speaks to me specifically about what is ahead in an upcoming season, I always search for scriptures that will give me strategy and wisdom about how to step into what God is going to do. One of the scriptures that has really been speaking to me during this greater season is Romans 15:13. It says, “Now may God, the fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him.”

As a believer, especially one filled with the Spirit of God, you should walk in supernatural peace and have the overwhelming joy of the Lord bubbling up from the inside of you. As Kingdom believers, we are carriers of the perfect peace and uncontainable joy of God in every season. No matter what the natural circumstances we may find ourselves in may look like, we should remember that God is our source. The Lord desires to see you live in abundance, with your cup overflowing, as you walk with Him.

The enemy will always attempt to rob you of the abundant life God desires for you to live. John 10:10 says, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” It is a life of abundance and favor that God has for His people, not one of lack and despair. This is why your faith to believe for the greater things must be your expectation in this season.

Psalm 23:5 says, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” I believe that this is a season where you can live your best life with God. Now is your time to live the life God has called you to live, to pray and believe for those greater things He has placed in your heart.

If you are unsure what your purpose is, look back at the prophetic words God has already spoken over your life and begin to believe them. Proverbs 3:10 says, “Then every dimension of your life will overflow with blessings from an uncontainable source of inner joy!” You were made to overflow. God wants us to overflow with His joy and power in such a way that when we walk into a room or a situation people are immediately impacted for the Kingdom of God. As children of God, we are made to carry His presence and authority everywhere we go and to everyone we meet.

The call God places on our lives is meant to come from the overflow of our relationship with Him in every season.

I challenge you to speak life and life more abundantly over yourself and your life today. Whatever areas you are not seeing the abundance and favor in are exactly the places God wants to start to overflow. You could never fathom the love that God has for you or the beauty of what He has planned for you.

This is your season to dive in deeper with the Lord. Spend that devoted time in the place of prayer and in His presence. Lean in to hear what He has to say to you in this season and then begin to step out in faith.

There is not a single area of your life that God does not want to fill with His goodness so get ready for it! Greater is coming!
