Our Heavenly Father is breaking chains of regret, shame, humiliation, and bitterness from His sons and daughters. He is lifting your head and saying,
“It’s time to forgive yourself.”
There is such love and kindness in His touch and His eyes. He is removing heavily weighted backpacks that many of you carry— packed with regrets. They are regrets about decisions you made, sins repeated, relationships violated, and pain caused to others. You have opened these backpacks many times in shame to look through them and this has caused you to hold onto unforgiveness against yourself.
The Father is removing the weight of regrets off of your back. He is assigning angles with jars of water and oil to wash and anoint your feet, your hands, and your heads. The Father is lifting you back up to your feet and Jesus is reaching out his hand to you. Take his hand. He desires to dance with you as a bridegroom dances with his bride.
Allow Jesus to embrace you. He is whispering in your ear the words from Song of Songs 4:7,
“You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.”
God is removing the regrets that have caused you to be weighed down. He is saying, “It is now time to forgive yourself.” Exchange that pack of regrets for the beauty of redemption. Take the hand of your Beloved Jesus and let Him whisper in your ear the words that you’ve longed to hear and that He’s longed to say,
“You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.”
Today is the day and now is the time to let all regrets go and allow the beauty that He sees to wash over you.
