The Church is Dead

Where I am allowed to do so, I am raising up a new vibrant church to lead My people into a revival-led Golden Age.

I have been in a bit of a dry place this past week or so. I knew that all was not right with me but I’ve been feeling very sluggish – almost feeling a bit sorry for myself as we both wrestled with colds, possibly this omicron variant. Yet I also knew that there’s something big brewing spiritually, and sure enough, it started to be revealed to me tonight.

I saw, in my spirit, a man lying face down on the floor in the middle of a church. I hear a voice say, “He was the church!”, then another said, “The church is dead!” People began mourning his passing. No one seemed to want to move him, they just left him lying there. Suddenly, I saw that someone had found defibrillator paddles, and they began to prepare the man to be shocked! They turned him on his back and undid his shirt so that his chest was laid bare. Someone called “Clear!” and his body jumped as several volts, about 3000 of them, shot through his body. Nothing! Once again they called “Clear”, and once again his body jerked as electricity surged through – still nothing. Undaunted, “Clear!”, was called a third time. This time the body jerked up into a sitting position – life had returned and was apparently well and thriving.

It soon became clear that the old church was still dead and that a new church had risen in its place. The new church had none of the old habits, there was no apathy nor lethargy, it was all replaced by a new zeal for God and the things of God. Even the name of the church was changed.

The vision faded and I asked the Lord about it all.

“THE CHURCH IS DEAD”, says the Lord, “But where I am allowed to do so, I am raising up a new vibrant church to lead My people into a revival-led Golden Age. A church that defends the weak, the orphan, and the widow. A church that heals the sick, raises the dead, and expels demons. A church where few leaders are well known, where they feed the hungry and clothe the poor. In short, a church that fulfills the Great Commission and prepares the people for My Kingdom. Where children are honored as much as adults.” The Lord paused for a few seconds before continuing, “I am sending such change to the church that it will no longer be recognizable as the church of old. Those who refuse to accept My new church will simply fade away into insignificance with no power, no relevance, and no real influence on the world. Many, many leaders shall fall or be exposed for their wrong agendas and motives and the world will be shocked – “Surely, not him too?” will be a common cry. But I shall raise young lions in their place – young Ravenhills, young Hagins, young Lakes, young Wesleys, and Wigglesworths who will fear nothing but their God! Those who will lead My end-time Remnant army from victory to victory.”

I saw the Healing Rooms movement growing in importance and stature as I saw the rise of Healing Centres. Linda and I ran a Healing Room for over five years and we saw many wonderful healings, yet the world was not really ready for such a concept at that moment. We ran our healing rooms out of a well-known chain of coffee shops, and I see the time coming when the local church will be invited to hold healing rooms meetings or sessions in all sorts of public places. In fact, such will be the demand that the healing rooms will be hard pushed to keep up, but the glory will be undeniable!

This vision has suddenly gone in an unexpected direction, but I stand by it in faith and tremendous expectation of what is coming very soon. Part of revival and awakening is the sudden appearance of the miraculous, and that which is upon us will be no different. Maybe it’s time to ‘resurrect’ our old Healing Room ministry. We wait on the Lord for His Word on this.
