On October 16, in a very Unique Encounter with the Lord, I saw what I knew was Jesus Christ appear to me in a very vivid vision. However, instead of His Face or His Hands specifically being highlighted to me like He had been to me before in the past, I noticed His Neck and Shoulder Blades instead were Highlighted as though He was wearing the Shoulder pads from a football game.
As I saw this, the Holy Spirit said to me, “The Shoulders of Jesus are being Broadened throughout the Nations of the world in this generation in a way that the world has never seen or experienced before in the past, as Sons and Daughters of God across the globe begin to become parts of governments everywhere around the world at the leading of the Lord!”
As I heard this in my ear, the verse below popped into my Spirit:
“For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; AND THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE UPON HIS SHOULDER, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace. OF THE INCREASE OF HIS GOVERNMENT AND OF PEACE THERE SHALL BE NO END, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from the [latter] time forth, even forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7
While I realize that the government of God is distinctly different than the Governments here, I saw hundreds of Sons and Daughters of God being led by the Holy Spirit to run for political offices around the world. In the Body of Christ (which every Son and Daughter is a part of), these Sons and Daughters represented Jesus’s Shoulders!
The Shoulders are where we bear the burdens of others as well as the burdens of this life. Those who are feeling the nudge of the Holy Spirit to run for political offices are receiving a Special Measure of God’s Grace and Wisdom to do so. While I have never prophesied anything like this before, I believe that these representatives will be ones who will not only shoulder the burdens of their brethren, but they will be those who represent the Kingdom of God from positions of natural and political influence.
While everyone has a special place, function, and position within the Body of Christ, those who bear one another’s burdens are invaluable assets to the Body.
“BEAR (ENDURE, CARRY) ONE ANOTHER’S BURDENS and [a]troublesome moral faults, and in this way fulfill and observe perfectly the law of Christ (the Messiah) and complete [b]what is lacking [in your obedience to it].” Galatians 6:2
These special people will represent the King and His Kingdom, not from a pulpit within a church fellowship necessarily, but from a public platform of servanthood to the people of their corresponding nations. They shall receive a special Impartation of Grace from the Lord’s Presence for this purpose and a Supernatural Wisdom from the Mind of Christ to govern the nations.
While many think that the church and the political world should remain separated completely from each other, both belong to the Lordship of Jesus Christ Himself.
“The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it.” Psalms 24:1
If you’re feeling like God is speaking to your heart to enter this public forum in this fashion, allow the Lord to lead you and His Grace to Empower you. And always remember that you don’t just represent people, but you will represent Him as well!
