After spending some time in prayer the other day, I kept feeling this one word in my spirit, “Stuck.” I believe that there are many people in the body of Christ in this season who have been or still feel stuck. It could be spiritually, physically, or financially. Some may feel stuck in a job or stuck in the progression of their relationships.
As I continued to pray, I received several messages from close friends confirming that they were also feeling stuck in certain areas or encountering people who felt stuck in different areas. So I want to encourage you in this season, especially if you are feeling stuck, don’t pay attention to life’s distractions but instead, press on. Keep going. Continue to push forward in every area of your life with the Lord.
I really believe that God is calling His people out of that stuck state of mind. This is a time when it is crucial for each of us to really focus in on what the Lord is doing and saying and tune everything else out. As a child of God, you can carry a strong level of the spirit and the presence of God in your life. Because you belong to Him you carry an authority that can get you unstuck and out of that place that you’re in.
John 15:7 says, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” The truth in the scripture is pretty clear. We can ask whatever we wish and it will be done for us.
When you’re praying and let’s say that you feel stuck spiritually, you can ask the Lord to help you. Often if we just ask the Lord for a fresh touch from Him, He will encounter us and we will be renewed in His presence. The Lord wants to give you clarity and desires for you to walk in abundance. He does not want you to be or feel stuck. Ask Him for help. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and instruction and watch what He can do with your prayers and obedience.
When you are walking close with the Lord it says when you pray, declare and decree, whatever it is will be done for you. Obviously we have to pray in right alignment with God’s will for our lives but when you are walking closely with the Lord you will be in alignment with Him and His plans for your life. Jesus says in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” There is nothing that the enemy can do that can bring you down to the place or point where you should be stuck.
You have authority over the enemy so use it, my friends! You should move forward and advance with God in every single thing that He has for you. You’re not called by God to be stuck. That is the enemy. The enemy doesn’t want you taking one more step with the Lord. The enemy wants to keep you hindered and stuck from taking the ground God has destined you to take.
In this season, God is looking for those who will stand in the authority He has given them in this season and take ground for the Kingdom of God. So I want to encourage you with this today. You may feel stuck but you don’t have to be, my friends! Let your faith arise. Stand in the authority of Christ and move forward. We are in a separation season where those who are boldly pursuing the Lord and His purposes for them are going to be easily distinguished from those who are not. Seek the Lord, ask Him for help, and step into the freedom and abundance He has for you!
