The Lord recently spoke to me about how the storms of the past are over in this season. Many times the Lord will speak to me prophetically about what is coming or about a season we are about to step into. However, this word is not for a season that is coming. This is a word for right now, my friends.
So I want to just let you know and declare over you this word of the Lord, your storms are over! The storms of your life are over. Whatever it is that has delayed or discouraged you in previous seasons is no longer going to hinder you!
The Lord said to me, “Tell people the storms are over even if they still see a little residue or a little bit of what’s left.” When the Lord spoke this to me, I immediately got a specific picture in my mind. Recently, there was a bad storm in our area that came through with flash flooding and some high-speed straight-line winds. When the storm had passed I went by my mother’s house to check on her. There were some limbs down, some broken branches and leaves scattered across her yard. Even though the storm was over, it had passed but there was still evidence of the storm.
I feel like this is a prophetic picture of what the Lord is saying right now. Your storms are over but that does not mean that there may not still be some evidence or some remnants of it. However, don’t focus on what has been or even the residue of what the storms have left behind. It’s time to lift your eyes ahead and forward to all God is about to do and what He is calling you into in this season.
This is a season to move forward and advance. Whatever it is that the Lord has promised to you or spoken to you about it is time to step out in faith and put that faith into action! Shake yourself off, get yourself together, and get moving, my friends. You may want to go on a fast, set aside some extra time to spend in the place of prayer, sow a seed, and get ready for what is coming.
Psalms 107:29 says, “He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.” This is exactly what the Lord spoke to me. The Lord will make your storms to be still and the waves that were raging around you and your life bringing fear, He has hushed them. There is no longer any reason to be afraid.
This is a season to rise and be courageous. Deuteronomy 31:6 says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” What taunted you in the last season, what came against you and brought you to fear, what made you stumble, what made you back up, what made you not move forward will not harm you in this season.
When David killed Goliath he never had to fight that same giant again. That storm was over once and for all. And those giants that you have been facing are being struck down once and for all too. Before the children of Israel crossed the Red Sea the Lord told them that the Egyptians they saw that day would never have to battle again. Those things that had kept them in bondage and had been chasing them were swallowed up in the sea as they followed the Lord through it and that will be your story as well, my friends, as long as you keep going!
Over the next 5 to 6 months, you’re going to see a whole lot of chaos and confusion in the world. However, the people of God will be able to keep going with divine clarity. I was reading in the Word the other day where it talks about the favor of God and how it will wrap around you and His love will be like a canopy over you. That is your portion as a child of God. And in this season, you’re under a canopy of His favor and love and nothing will be able to stop His goodness in your life.
What the world is going through and is about to go through, you do not have to put up with it. Your story will be different because you belong to the One who silences and stills storms. Many people have to navigate through life with the best earthly knowledge and wisdom they can gain but you have the insight and power of the Holy Spirit. You can walk in the supernatural wisdom and revelation of the Holy Spirit and you can succeed in everything that you put your hands to because God is with you.
We are in a season right now where the storms from your last season are completely over. Now is the time to move forward and Advance the Kingdom of God as a free citizen of Heaven because that’s what you are!
