I think this is probably one of the hardest things for me personally. Waiting and being patient with other people, with situations, and even with God are difficult at times, to say the least; especially when you feel like your enemies are prospering all around you.
Through the years of experiencing this dynamic in my life, I have realized that God is not in a hurry and yet He is never late either. Even when we cannot see what’s going on He is working behind the scenes on our behalf, in our circumstances, situations, and even on the inside of our Personal Lives.
The Renewal process for each of us finds its fulfillment in the Wait, yet we always look at our timetables and personal agendas and think that God has to meet them or He has let us down. We must remember His plans and His Way for us are Perfect!
“As for God, His way is perfect! The word of the Lord is tested and tried; He is a shield to all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him.” Psalms 18:30
Maybe you’re feeling like you’re just not where you want to be. If you are feeling left behind, out of the loop, or just completely forgotten by the Lord, I encourage you to continue to wait upon Him!
Despite what it looks like, or appears to be, if you really belong to Him and you have submitted yourself to Him, then He is going to direct you both where to go and when. He hasn’t forgotten about you or your situation or where you are at!
The Answers are coming! Maybe not the way you expected them to, but the Way He has decided to take you. The results of your obedience to wait, will not only cause you to inherit the Promises He’s given you, but it’ll cut off your enemies as well in the process!
“Wait for and expect the Lord, keep and heed His Way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. Psalms 37:4
