Every promise of God has a heavenly storehouse of provision backing up what has been promised. Because of that stored provision, we can declare what God has promised with greater confidence.
Haggai the prophet wrote, “I am giving you a promise now while the seed is still in the barn” (Haggai 2:19). That stored provision is what gives us the confidence to declare things the world, and some within the Church, would reject as folly. God never promises something He cannot deliver.
The Lord is looking for people who choose to believe in the fulfillment of His promises even though no evidence of fulfillment is present. While the seed of promise is still in the barn and the field of our faith has not yet been planted, we can live in hope that what we plant in faith will yield a miraculous harvest.
