God recently gave me a prophetic word in a time of prayer where I just simply heard Him say, “Resources.” I held onto this word and spent several days praying over it as I sought the Lord for more revelation. Then I heard the Lord say, “Resources. I am sending resources.”
So I looked up the definition of resources and it says, “A stockpile or supply of money, materials, staff or other assets that can be drawn on by an individual or organization to function effectively. I believe what the Lord is saying to His faithful ones in this season is that He is about to pour out resources upon you in order for you to go forth and be effective in the Kingdom assignments He has given to you.
Our God is limitless. He has limitless power, wisdom, freedom, and resources for you. We are citizens of Heaven and in God’s Kingdom, there is no lack. So I just want to remind you that if you are lacking in any area of your life, ask God for what you need! I don’t just mean financially. I mean God has every single thing you have need of stockpiled for you, my friends!
So it’s time to step into your rightful place as a son or daughter of God and begin to ask and believe boldly for God to release whatever it is you have need of in order to fulfill your purpose and destiny. There is no one who wants to see you flourish into the person God designed you to be than the Lord Himself! God the Father wants you to thrive and succeed in His plans and purposes for you even more than you want it for yourself.
The Lord never pours out abundance or favor just for an individual to just have excess. Instead, the Lord blesses His people so that they can be stewards of what He entrusts to them in order to see His Kingdom advance. God is looking for those, especially in this season, that He can trust to steward the abundance He places in their hands.
One of the most powerful prophetic words my wife and I ever received was that we would have millions of dollars pass through our hands in order to do the will of God. The emphasis was on the money passing through our hands, meaning that it was not for us to hold onto it but instead to simply be stewards of it. God has infinite resources and He wants to use His people to be the wise and effective distributors of those resources in the earth in order to bring about His will and His Kingdom.
Resources are coming and it is our job, my friends, to position ourselves to be able to steward them with wisdom and purity of heart. God looks at and knows our hearts. He knows whether we can handle what He wants to give to us or not. I think many times people don’t receive what they are praying for because God knows that they cannot properly steward those answered prayers.
So I want to encourage you to strengthen your foundation with the Lord. Make sure you are fully tapped into what the Holy Spirit is speaking to you and follow His voice with obedience and faith. Ask the Lord to make you a wise steward. The Word of God says that if we lack wisdom, all we have to do is ask for it. So ask, my friends! Ask the Lord and allow Him to shift and mold your mindset to His ways and His Kingdom. Ask for wisdom and study to show yourself approved.
Get in the word and glean from the living Word of God the wisdom that you need. And become a wise steward of your prophetic destiny. You will need the resources that only the Lord can supply you with in order to live out the call of God on your life. But first, the Lord wants to see you put practical action to those prophetic promises God has given to you. Begin to step out of the boat, keep your eyes on Jesus, and watch as everything else falls into place.
