As I was spending time with the Lord, I felt Him give me something so strong and significant in my spirit. It was “Prophetic Consistency.” I immediately found out the concrete definition of both words, and they had one shared word in their definitions: “accurate”. The number one reason that people are not where they are supposed to be in life is not because they lack the ability to be there, but rather, they lack prophetic consistency.
Lots of people are constantly looking for another prophetic word, but what did you do with the last one you received? Did you steward it, run after it, or did you squander it? Most people love God, go to church, read their Bibles, and do all of those things, but they still feel like they are missing something. Well, it is prophetic consistency. Are you quick to obey when the Lord tells you to do things? What prophetic word are you still sitting on that God gave you? All of these things are contributing factors to why some people don’t reach their full potential in God.
This brings us back to the word “accurate.” Everyone’s life has a target; God sent every single person to this Earth with a mission and a purpose. Our goal is to be so accurate that we hit the bullseye.
There are four main areas where people are either thriving or lacking in: spirit, mind, body, and emotions. Are you being consistent with all four? For some people, they have the ambition, the drive, and the finances to pursue their calling, but their physical body isn’t in shape. Some people have their prophetic word, their body is healthy, but they lack the finances to start anything.
You have to be prophetically consistent in all areas. Find out where you are weak, and work toward strengthening that area, and watch what God will do! Consistency is one of the most important pieces to the puzzle of fulfilling the call of God on your life. When you learn to be consistent and stop letting minor inconveniences ruin your progress, you will start to grow and see increase in every area of your life.
The second part is: you must be in tune with the prophetic. What is God speaking right now? What has God placed in your heart to do? Apply consistent practices with the prophetic calling over your life, and you are on your way to being exactly who God created you to be.
