Majesty’s Abide 

Inspiration for the day pursuance of God’s creation. Hope you enjoy. 

Imagine sitting in front of the most beautiful painting at The Louvre in France

The Wedding at Cana perhaps, by Paolo Veronese, this work of art will literally put you in a trance;

The absolute majesty and beauty of this piece fills you with emotions you can’t really explain

And you think of the painter, how much work, how much detail; impossible to ascertain;

Now shift your focus to The Grand Canyon, Glacier National Park, or the most beautiful sunset you’ve ever seen

Then, to the artist who created those; did it just happen by an ice formation? For me; I’ve learned to lean;

On The Word of God; which states that He created it all for all of His children to enjoy

So, why then would I look at the sky, the sea, the mountains; and try to employ;

Scientific theories that make less sense to me than how I feel about my Lord when I witness these things

Why the blue jay is blue and the robin red; for no reason at all but a bunch of atom formations; that certainly doesn’t bring;

Any joy, warmth, hope; and even though my belief system might sound strange to some; but not to me

Imagine again the painting; could that beauty have been created without the painter; can’t you see?

That Abiding in the Majesty of the Creator provides hope for both the believer and those who choose to repent

And I pray fervently that the folks in the other camp can come to realize this truth, join His team and reside in His tent.
