This is a new season, both in the spiritual realm and physical realm. The Holy Spirit has accelerated our times as we witness the Lord’s Kingdom coming to earth as it is written in Heaven. (Matthew 11) We have prayed this many times, haven’t we?
We know the Lord has prophesied our present because we are now living out what He told us in the past through His scripture and His prophets, confirming that. Remember what the Word says, in Amos 3:8.“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”
Jeremiah 29:11-13
“For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
So our good is in His plans and always has been.
Cooperating with the Holy Spirit
Biblical prophesy will come to pass no matter what. Our promises are most often conditional, which requires we walk in agreement with the Lord, resulting in our obedience to the Holy Spirit.
Since we know birth is both fierce and fragile, we can be comforted in knowing the champions of our faith who have gone before us, persevered, and testified of what God did. Abraham’s story has always stirred my faith. It’s a literal story about “Birth.” The birthing of his faith, a baby, and a nation- Israel, so take heart.
Genesis 12:1-3
“Now the Lord said to Abram, ‘Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.”
We know the end result. It took twenty-five years before the first seed of this great nation promised to Abraham was born; it was Issac that needed to be born.
If we read the account of that journey of faith, it was never easy for Abraham or Sarah, but it was worth it. The Lord factored in all the mistakes His Beloveds would make, and yet He honored their faith and obedience in it all. If you are struggling with this, ask the Lord for greater grace. Forgive others and remember to forgive yourself as well. God’s got you. We are being perfected in our faith here on earth. We don’t arrive perfected here on earth.
God uses broken vessels
Trials and tribulations are commonplace, and these are only for a season. Paul speaks of these moments or seasons in the Word here.
2 Corinthians 4:7-11
“Now we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this surpassingly great power is from God and not from us we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; but it was the Lord who made the way already being persecuted but not being forsaken, being struck down but not being destroyed, We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.”
Your success in the Lord is imminent
It’s almost Spring in the Northern hemisphere and Winter in the southern hemisphere. Birth is both fierce and fragile. Transition time is the most critical time during birth. There are moments when both baby and Momma can face both life and death. Each birth is unique and different but destined by God. There are moments of intense pushing and moments of much-needed rest. So do accordingly as the Holy Spirit leads you.
Your success and time have already been determined by the Lord
The story of Joseph comes to mind. We know Joseph was given a powerful, prophetic dream regarding the future. Little did he know what it would take to birth it and that it was meant to save many. We don’t always know what God’s ultimate plans are for what He promised us, but we can be assured it is meant to bless and save many.
Genesis 50:20
“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.”
Philippians 1:6
“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
Psalm 31:15
“My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me.”
Taking dominion of our identity in Christ is a journey of discovering God’s deep grace for us.
God’s beloved Saint, His promises are coming to pass for you. The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob says your success is imminent.
