The world we live in today is loud, busy, and always fighting for your attention. People’s minds are constantly swirling with chaos and worry when they should be focused on their kingdom purpose in this season of acceleration. The Lord was showing me that there is a very small percentage of people that are actually moving forward, and the people that are advancing are going to accomplish incredible things for the kingdom of God in this hour.
The difference between the people who are taking advantage of the increase and those who aren’t is their mindset. The remnant of people who are building for the kingdom of God are not fazed or moved by what is going on in the world.
In 2020, when the world faced chaos and confusion, we had prosperity and joy. Why? When you can correct your mindset to only view things from a biblical, spirit-led perspective, what the world faces doesn’t have to be what you face. Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” ESV.
Mindset is what separates the best from the rest, and when you have a kingdom mindset, you only think about the things that bring glory and honor to the Lord.
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” ESV. We should constantly renew our minds with the word of God so that we can discern properly the will he has for our life.
My wife and I were discussing on our back porch how we just have the constant joy and peace of God, but the next day, I was talking to a bunch of people who lack that in their lives. Life is choices, and whether or not you make the decision to renew your mind and live in the peace that is your portion is your choice, but there is nothing more fulfilling and more impactful than accomplishing what you were created for. If your mind is swirling in this season, renew your mind and go after what God has called you to do!
