I Never Lead You Into a Dead End!

God reminded me that He never baits us with false hope.

My husband and I were recently praying for some fellow ministers who were all facing intense challenges of faith. Though each situation was different, they were all standing for a promise to come to pass that they had received from the Lord months earlier – even years earlier. Even as it had seemed clear in the beginning that they had heard from the Lord, there were constant distractions, disruptions, and delays to their promises coming to pass. Frustration from unexpected roadblocks and disappointment from increasing setbacks seemed to be a pattern in every circumstance. Some were beginning to doubt whether or not they had heard correctly the first time. As we continued to pray for these situations, I began to feel the passion of the Lord rise up as I heard these words:

“I NEVER LEAD YOU INTO A DEAD END! STAND ON WHAT I HAVE ALREADY SPOKEN!”

I immediately felt a righteous indignation rise up against the adversary who was at war with the promises of God! I just knew that this was not a time to back down due to opposition, but to take a stand on His word! He reminded me that He never baits us with false hope. That’s what the enemy does. He never takes us through twists and turns only to disappoint us with the end result. That’s what the adversary does.

For those who are contending for the promises of God, do not allow changing circumstances, temporary setbacks, or even immature people to be the final answer to what God has already spoken to your heart. When God speaks His word, it never returns empty. Never. The natural realm can never determine His ability to supersede what is impossible in order to bring His promises to fruition.

If you know you have heard the word of the Lord for your life, your family, or even your nation, never doubt His ability to bring it to pass. Though the enemy will give you many opportunities to shrink back in discouragement, set your heart towards the Father’s absolute love and goodness for you.

He has already told you His intentions.
Don’t change your mind.
He hasn’t changed His.

So shall My word be that goes out from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
