Heavenly Encounters

After being there for several hours the worship leader started to lead worship and God’s Power began to drop in a very tangible way. As the worship began to get close to the end and I began to teach from the Word of God, a heavy Presence from the Lord was still hovering in the atmosphere of the room.

 

About an hour in, the Holy Spirit shifted me from teaching to Words of Knowledge. As I began to speak over one of the women, she told me that the room went kinda blurry to the point where all that she could see was a Bright Light in front of her.

 

As the Bright Light continued to be all that she could see, it was only then that she realized that she was inside the Throne Room of God! She fell to her knees sobbing and crying and the entire room was permeated by the Power of God as people began to either laugh or cry.

 

This went on for about 20 minutes, but it took the lady several hours to stop sobbing after the Encounter ended. Her life will never be the same again, as she said that nothing like that had ever happened to her before.

 

While there are a lot of people out there who tout the Encounters they have every day with the Lord, real Encounters not only impact you deeply and permanently, but they change you from what you were before into something else in the Presence of God.

 

You will walk away from these Encounters differently than when you went into them. When Paul the Apostle met Jesus Christ on the Road to Emmaus, the Encounter was so powerful that it knocked him off of his donkey to the ground.

 

 

Saul’s Encounter, not only impacted the direction of his life, it transformed him completely by the Power of God. In fact, the Encounter was so powerful that he couldn’t even see for a time, because of the effects of the Encounter. It wasn’t until Ananias came and prayed for him that his sight returned.

 

Real Encounters carry tangible and unforgettable impact on the lives of those who have them. They don’t happen to make those who have them seem more righteous or holy than anyone else, they happen to Transform their lives more into the Image of Jesus Christ.

 

As the Holy Spirit began to lift off of the woman and she began to describe her Encounter with God, all she could do was weep and sob because of the impact that the Lord had upon her life.

 

 

Encounter lets you see your real condition in the Presence of a Holy and Righteous God, to the point where you feel Undone and you realize the condition of those around you as well. This is why Isaiah calls the Righteousness of man “Filthy Rags” before the Lord’s Presence (Isaiah 64:6).

 

I believe there is an increased wave of these kinds of Divine Encounters coming from the Presence of God! The Holy Spirit is going to drop upon those who are His, Encounter them like this lady, and transform many of them by His Power and His Glory!

 

This isn’t happening so that they can become well known, but rather so that they can make His Name well known (famous) in the earth around them. So, if you’re a Son or a Daughter of the Most High God you should anticipate these Encounters to happen! May the Holy Spirit drop upon your life and Transform you with the Power of Real Encounters in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
