From Fear to Strength and Courage

Bold as a lion, fear left behind, we break the chains.

Posted on

Drowning in fear, coming up for air, dismayed, we veer.
Weakened by circumstance beyond control, we fear.
Afraid to step into the unknown, we stand paralyzed.
To be rid of fear that disables, we turn to Him above.
With words of encouragement, He stands by in love.

No longer willing to tolerate indifference, we pray.
Bound in worry and doubt, we seek release to slay.
With loss of ambition and initiative, for help, we cry.
Captivated by fear that strangles, we seek to be free.
Forsaking inferiority and unbelief, we press to believe.

No longer willing to be self-absorbed, we embrace.
In Him who gives hope to all, we commit wholeheartedly.
Instilling words of encouragement, we stand ready.
Believing in His word that delivers, we embrace mightily.
Breathing deeply, we allow His words to transform.

Transformed in our thoughts, His ways, we embrace.
Transformation taking hold, strength and courage replace.
Filled with the Spirit, reaching, vision and purpose fill.
Bold as a lion, fear left behind, we break the chains.
In His sufficiency, we press strong and courageous to gain.
