Finding Refuge During Difficult Times

Secure in His love, no matter the difficulty, we give praise.

Posted on

Given to the times, we cling to Him in His righteousness.
Made righteous as He is, we embrace His fullness.
In the shelter of His love, we dwell in His righteousness.
Becoming sin for us, He perfects us to His measure.
From faith to faith, righteousness leads to His treasures.

Though violence and wickedness reign, His shield protects.
Secure in His love, no matter the difficulty, we give praise.
Abiding in His secret place, we stand ready as we gaze.
Delivered from the snares of evil, righteousness deflects.
With faithful promises given as His armor, He protects

No longer fearful, trusting through adversities, He directs
Though the times can be ugly and terrifying, He protects.
With His angels watching over, we find rest as He connects.
Making the Lord our shelter, we abide under His protection.
No longer dreading disastrous times, we plot accordingly.

More than conquerors, we engage with sword in hand.
Without fear, no matter the circumstances, we command.
Filled with purpose and promise, enduring all, we conquer.
With righteousness leading, faith imparting, we upstage.
With the Almighty’s testimony on our lips, we engage.

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him. For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.
Psalm 92:1-2 NLT
