The heat.
The stench.
The crowds.
She’s bleeding.
He’s coming.
Blind faith.
Radical faith.
Still bleeding.
Sweating.
Shoving.
Crushing.
Crawling.
Whatever it takes to stop this bleeding.
She doesn’t care how she looks.
Hands and knees in the dung.
Her mouth is dry and full of dirt.
But that won’t stop her.
Twelve years of bleeding.
She’s breaking the law.
She’s unclean.
She shouldn’t be here.
She’s desperate.
She’s bleeding.
It’s the medical condition.
But it’s not just the medical condition.
It’s her heart.
It’s bleeding.
She needs Him.
She wants Him.
She’ll do anything.
Just to reach Him.
He’s here.
It’s now.
She’s reached Him.
One touch…
He stopped her soul from bleeding.
Radical ones.
Wild ones.
Outcasts and unruly ones.
Backslidden.
Church hurt.
And…Unsure ones
Who’s bleeding?
Who’s desperate to touch Him?
It is beautiful, diligent, and undignified faith that moves the Almighty to miracles.
But it’s also for the desperate ones, who call on the Name of the Lord.
He stops the bleeding.
He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” Mark 5:34
