Covered in Darkness

Recently, I had a prophetic dream where I was going down a river. Even in the dream, this immediately reminded me of a certain spot in a river where myself and my friends used to go canoeing when I was younger. In the dream, I knew I was coming up on one specific part of the river path where the trees formed a thick canopy over the river. The trees provided so much shade that even on a very sunny day, that small stretch of the river was completely covered in darkness. The water level was lower and rocky, as well as being an area usually ridden with snakes.

In the dream, I was approaching this part of the river’s path and because I recognized it as the same river I used to canoe in real life, I knew it would take me about 2 minutes to get through this dark and dangerous part of the journey. In the dream, I reached the dark stretch of the journey and the water was moving swiftly. About 75% of the way through the darkness, I could see daylight at the end of the canopy of trees.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me in the dream and said, “This is where we are in the world right here. Many are still going through some things, the light has not yet fully broken through, but the end is coming. This season is ending.”

I believe the prophetic message of this dream is abundantly clear. We are currently in a dangerous stretch of our journey toward our individual destiny and the prophetic destiny of this nation. However, soon we will launch into the clear, swift waters of breakthrough. There is light at the end of the tunnel and if you will stay the course, your most powerful season is straight ahead!

This tumultuous season of warfare and confusion is coming to an end and many will be catapulted forward into what God has been calling them to do for many years. Prophecies will soon be fulfilled and the dark cloud that has been hovering over many, and over this nation, will soon dissipate and the sun will burst forth!

One of the most significant prophetic symbols in this dream is that of the canopy of trees blocking out the sunlight. Where we are on the path, the sunlight is not yet fully exposed, but soon it will be. The sunlight in the dream represents the Son, Jesus Christ. We are entering into a season where Jesus Christ, the Son, is going to be fully exposed and His light will shine forth upon America and the nations of the world!

This is a critical season. God has not brought you this far to let you be thrown from your canoe and taken out by the darkness or the enemy that has been lying in wait for you. The breakthrough, the wealth transfer, righteous people will start to move in power and we will see things begin to change radically.

We are about to enter into a very strong season in America and also in the nations of the world. Just like in this dream, you will not fall out of the canoe, you will stay the course and if you will just keep going, then the light at the end of the tunnel is closer than it’s ever been before. The people of God, the remnant that God has set apart, are moving forward and we are about to enter into a season of complete breakthrough! The river path may be covered in darkness right now, but you are about to enter into the Great Light!
