Quite some time ago, The LORD spoke to me regarding the importance of positioning ourselves to receive all that He has for us, as we pray and seek Him for answers to what is heavy on our minds.
With the right perspective, we will overcome the mountains that seem to be standing against the fulfillment of God’s promises in our lives!
I say ‘seem to be‘, simply because it is all about perspective!
He has plainly told us to “Speak to the mountain!” (Matthew 21:21, Mark 11:23)
Whatever our strongholds are, they are unique to us, and we can tear them down!
Also, knowing the Time and Season we are entering, certainly plays a big part in our perspective.
The LORD has been speaking to me to make myself ready……
He said, “Make yourself ready!
Prepare your heart to see My Kingdom advance in an unparalleled manner and with an acceleration you have not expected.
You are on the very fringe of a massive Breaker Anointing that will bring Restoration and Encouragement to victims of the massive flood damage throughout your land.
It is the perfect time to show forth the Father’s Heart in the midst of great devastation.
I AM sending you forth to let My Light shine in this time of dark moments of *despair.
You shall be a part of reviving Unity and Oneness that will pave the way for the end-time Revival that has been promised.”
*Despair : de·spair /dəˈsper/ noun 1. the complete loss or absence of hope. “in despair, I hit the bottle”
“I say to you, My Beloved, it is time to be honest with yourselves!
Ask yourself this question, “Do I really desire truth in the inner parts”?
It is the now time to make yourself ready — Spirit, Soul, and Body.
It is the hour to allow your spirit to take the lead and deny your flesh!”
The moment I awoke this morning, The LORD began to speak to me about being honest with ourselves.
I cannot stress enough how spiritually damaging it is to ignore your true feelings.
It is good to live life with a positive approach (also taught as ‘positive thinking’), but people who never glance at, or consider anything negative, and/or how it has or is presently affecting them, can easily find themselves in a self-created bubble.
“Being positive,” first involves facing things realistically, no matter how negative they may be.
We are not called to live by our human reasoning, but we live in a world that is very much void of a Godly perspective in these last days.
How can I know what I need to be positive about until I have clearly seen what’s really troubling me?
Again, I find myself being reminded that I do not know my own heart.
There have been many times when I said, “LORD, show me my heart!” once my issue was dealt with in a positive way.
But if I am trying to be positive without bringing everything into clear focus, then I am building my house on sinking sand.
No matter how hard I try to pour the cement into the foundation… No matter how well I reinforce the walls, when a storm comes, my house will sadly begin to sink. (Matthew 7:24-27)
The LORD has been speaking to me also about the need to be honest with ourselves; about “seeing ourselves as He sees us”!
The Word speaks to us that the pride of our heart deceives us.
Proverbs 16:18 warns us that “too much pride will destroy you,” and Obadiah 1:3 says, “the pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rock in your lofty dwelling, who say in your heart, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’”
When we see ourselves as The LORD sees us, we escape the deception of the pride of our heart.
In Counseling Training, we often dealt with those who had a broken spirit and had low self esteem, and never saw themselves worthy, and certainly never saw themselves, as the saying goes, ‘as amounting to anything’.
The Truth is, there is power in ‘positive thinking‘.
We must embrace who we are — IN HIM!
He has made us whole. When we ask Jesus in our hearts, our spirit receives New Life: we are healed and made whole.
We must believe it and receive it. It is an ongoing process as we become more like Him.
We have power to break every curse of low self-esteem and rejection as we receive healing and wholeness in HIM.
Today, I Pray that The Father will minister this Truth to us in a very loving way.
He knows how to speak to each one of us. He often sends that one person whom He knows we will listen to, as He enforces The Truth that we must embrace.
I pray that as He speaks, The Truth will sink deep into our spirits because He is showing me more and more, that it is not enough to be honest with God and others, I must also be totally honest with myself.
The LORD has, so many times, pointed me to David, a man who practiced so well the process of pouring out his heart to God — completely.
He was indeed a perfect example of Being Honest with Ourselves. I always think about him as I sing to The LORD, morning by morning, “Show Me My Heart”!
Prayer
Please join me in this Prayer:
Father, I ask you to help us all get to that place and stay there.
Thank you for allowing me to see what’s going on in my heart when I am caught up in the midst of conflict or struggles in life.
Help me to see the things You are showing me in my heart that are blocking my understanding or keeping me from moving forward in Your Plan and Vision for me.
I acknowledge that You are my advocate and I run to You, pouring out my heart with all diligence, trusting You to cleanse, heal, and restore.
I wait in confidence for You. In Jesus’ Name, I ask it.
Holy God, I say you alone are worthy of all my worship, the devotion of my heart, all my trust, all my praise, and all the glory of my life.
I give myself to you totally.
You alone are LIFE and you have become my LIFE.
You are my true FATHER, my redeemer, my true FRIEND, and the true end of all things.
I love you. I trust you. I worship you. I give myself totally to you.
Jesus, thank you for coming to ransom me with your own life.
I give myself over to you completely.
I am forever grateful for the blood you shed for me for my cleansing and healing.
I am so thankful for The Cross and your sacrifice for me through which all my sins are atoned for and removed.
Jesus, I receive you as my life, and I triumph in your resurrection, through which you have conquered sin death, judgment, and the evil one.
Thank you that I reign in life through your life.
With great gratitude, I receive your hope, love, faith, joy, goodness, wisdom, power, and strength afresh today in Your mighty Name!
“A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.” Proverbs 16:18-19 NKJV
