Just over a week ago, the Lord started speaking to me about going “All In” during the month of April. The Lord began to speak to me about going all in, first and foremost with Him and in the things He has called me to do. As I received this word from the Lord, I started carving out designated extra time to spend in prayer, fasting, and the Word of God in order to really position myself in April to go all in! It is important for each of us to position our hearts first as we look ahead to what God wants to do in and through our lives.
I want to encourage you with this prophetic word to do the same! Those who want to heed this word for April need to intentionally go deep with the Lord in the secret place and after the things He has placed in their hearts to do.
Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
My friends, if you will go all in on your personal walk with God, seeking Him and His Kingdom first in everything that you do, you cannot fail. Those who seek the Lord and the Kingdom first will find themselves walking in the impossible, surrounded by the favor and blessing of God in every area of their lives.
2 Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the whole earth that God can find one person whose heart is loyal to Him and God will show Himself strong on that person’s behalf.” God is looking for those who are all in with Him in order to do incredible things in and through their lives.
So, throw your life into everything that God has spoken to you about in previous seasons. The waiting season is over! It’s time to go all in! So I want to challenge you with this thought. What would your life look like if you completely went all in with the Lord? What steps of faith would you take? What areas of your life would you put more energy and focus into? What areas of your life would you cut out or put in order? What business would you launch? What book would you write? What ministry would you throw yourself into?
April is a month that can make a huge difference in the trajectory of the rest of the year for you. Many of you may have set New Year’s resolutions, goals, and intentions that have long fizzled out by now. However, don’t be discouraged. Every day is a fresh opportunity to start over, His mercies are new every morning.
It is easy for us to get caught up in the mundane, daily responsibilities and routines we all fall into. But now is the time to make a shift, it’s time to go all in. Several years ago, the Lord spoke to me about creating a strategic structure for my life in order to manage my time and energy wisely.
Every Sunday night, I take time to go over my goals, appointments, and intentions for the week ahead. I make sure to carve out time to be alone with God so that I can read and pray undistracted. I look ahead to the phone and in-person meetings I have scheduled and make sure to think through what needs to be accomplished in those conversations. I schedule time to work out, eat healthy meals, and spend quality time with my family.
I know everything that I want to accomplish by the end of the next week all in that preparatory time on Sunday evenings and prepare my heart, mind, and spirit for the week ahead. In the month of April, some of you need to create strategic structures like this because what you are about to step into will overwhelm you without preparing for what is coming!
Go all in in April! If you are married, go all in on your marriage. If you have children and a family, go all in with leading and loving them. If you are a sibling or a son or daughter, go all in on strengthening those family relationships. If you are a business owner or an employee, go all in on your work.
Whatever it is you are doing in this season, do it heartily as unto the Lord. Let everything you do carry the overflow of the presence and power of God that you cultivate in the secret place with Him. In all things, step it up in April. Watch what happens when you give your all to those relationships and assignments God has given to you.
Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Don’t let fear or hesitation rob you of this incredible season.
God is looking for people who are listening to Him and are tuned into His Spirit at any given moment. He wants to speak to you and help you on the path toward your destiny and purpose. The Lord is looking for those who are willing to be ready in season and out of season. It’s time to go all in!
