The other night while I was meditating upon the Word of God, the Holy Spirit said,
“There’s once again coming a time (very soon), where My Real Prophets are Going to have to confront (and challenge) those who are not real, for those who are mine will not only carry My Message, but they will also carry My Authority and Power as they are submitted solely to Me and carry My Presence within them!”
As I heard this from the Holy Spirit, my mind immediately went to the story of how Elijah defeated the Prophets of Baal.
“Elijah came near to all the people and said, How long will you halt and limp between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him! But if Baal, then follow him. And the people did not answer him a word.” 1 Kings 18:21
The systems of this world and all of its religions are going to be challenged by those who are filled with the Power of the Holy Spirit and are being molded into the image of the Son of God (Romans 8:29). For they won’t elevate themselves, but they will speak only what they hear from Him!
This challenge will not be theological, this challenge will not be religious in nature, but it will be by the operation and demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s power and God’s heart towards this generation!
“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in DEMONSTRATION OF THE SPIRIT AND OF POWER: THAT YOUR FAITH SHOULD NOT STAND IN THE WISDOM OF MEN, BUT IN THE POWER OF GOD.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
This generation is looking for something real and something tangible from God. Many who have tried religion in the past, have come away recognizing and having all of the same issues with it, and that is because religion itself is empty and utterly powerless apart from Jesus Christ. Only relationship with Jesus Christ carries real Substance with Him!
THE HOLY SPIRIT ISN’T EMPTY AND HE ISN’T POWERLESS! HE IS THE MOST POWERFUL PERSON IN EXISTENCE AND HE’S CARRYING THE FULL AUTHORITY AND POWER OF THE GODHEAD BEHIND HIM! This generation isn’t looking for hype and religion, it is searching for Substance, that Substance is found only in the Presence of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit!
The true Prophets are going to challenge the empty religious systems of man, who right now are eating at Jezebel’s table (1 Corinthians 10:21, 1 Kings 18:19) as they have made money and fame their god in His place.
The True Prophets will only build an altar to the Lord in their personal lives, serving and surrendering themselves only to Him and His Kingdom, instead of building their own kingdoms and when they speak the Word the Holy Spirit will accompany their Words with His Fire and with the Demonstration of His Power (Hebrews 1:7)!
God wants to turn the hearts of His Children back to Himself in this generation. Those who are real and legitimate Prophets of His Will focus their efforts there, through the Ministry of Reconciliation given to us by Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18)!
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. And HE SHALL TURN AND RECONCILE THE HEARTS OF THE [estranged] FATHERS TO THE [ungodly] CHILDREN, AND THE HEARTS OF THE CHILDREN TO [the piety of] THEIR FATHER [a reconciliation produced by repentance of the ungodly], lest I come and smite the land with a curse and a ban of utter destruction.” Malachi 4:5-6
“HEAR ME, O LORD, HEAR ME, THAT THIS PEOPLE MAY KNOW THAT YOU, THE LORD, ARE GOD, AND HAVE TURNED THEIR HEARTS BACK [TO YOU].” 1 Kings 18:37
Come Holy Spirit and Empower Your Prophets and Your People to stand up against the religious systems of men and Bring Reconciliation between your Children and Your Heart once more!
