One of the things that the Holy Spirit has made abundantly clear to me over the last few years of ministry is that, APART FROM HIM, WE CAN DO NOTHING!
The idea that we somehow are the Authors or Finishers of anything that God does in the earth is a Delusion!
At the same time, I am amazed that despite all of our mistakes, issues, and failures, God will still put His Power in us and allow His Mercy and Grace to keep Himself from leaving us. (He will never leave us or forsake us!)
However, God’s Greater Grace comes with a Greater Responsibility, because it comes with Greater Power and Manifestation of the Holy Spirit in us and through us!
The more power that the Lord causes to flow through our personal lives, the greater sacrifice of self! While there are many who would gladly welcome the Great Grace and Great Power of God, few would actually be willing to pay the price tag for that kind of Presence upon their lives.
While it’s true that the enemy takes an accounting of such people, and tries everything in his power to destroy them, it’s also true that if there’s any Strongholds of sin in your life, the Presence of God (when He brings His Presence in this way) will challenge those issues that you’ve been harboring.
The stronger His Presence is in your life, the more Transformation of your life is required into the Image of the Son of God, so that your house (your earthly body) can really become a Temple for the Holy Spirit’s Presence and Power in a greater way!
“The eye is the lamp of the body. So if your eye is sound, your entire body will be full of light. But if your eye is unsound, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the very light in you [your [a]conscience] is darkened, how dense is that darkness!” Matthew 6:22-23
The amount of Light in your life is determined by the “Soundness” or Singleness” of your eyes. The Word “Single” here means to be “Joined Together in Union”! Much like He that is joined to the Lord is One Spirit with Him!
When our focus becomes Him and only Him, then we become a candidate for His Greater Grace and Greater Power. But if there’s anything that’s drawing our attention away from that Singleness of our focus, the enemy will use those other things in an attempt to lead us away (off course) and destroy us!
Money has become one of the major stumbling blocks for many Sons and Daughters in this hour, as they sell Words of Encouragement, deliverances, and Healings or Miracles to others (which is a total trap of the enemy and an unbiblical behavior)!
If you’re seeking God’s Greater Grace and Greater Power, count the cost of it coming upon your life. While I think every minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ would love for God to use them in greater ways, that Anointing doesn’t come cheap because it’ll cost you everything that you currently are to House Him in that manner!
Great Grace is needed to move in Great Power, but great sacrifice of self and great transformation is necessary to maintain that kind of lifestyle for the long term, because if there are any weaknesses in your Armor, the enemy will find them and try to exploit them.
