OPINION –
At best, USAID is a source of extravagant fiscal waste. At worst (and most likely), the agency is a shell company for money laundering (your tax dollars) and political overreach across nations worldwide.
This exposure—publicized by DOGE’s Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Joni Ernst on a midnight X Space Monday—led to President Trump’s swift decision to shut down the agency, triggering a knee-jerk outcry from Democrat leaders.
Later that day, party activists like Representative Ilhan Omar gathered outside USAID to protest the closure. “This is what the beginning of dictatorship looks like,” Omar said.
Representative Jamie Raskin, who declared a year ago that the Democrats would ensure Trump never sets foot in the White House again, also took the podium to claim Elon Musk doesn’t have the power to destroy USAID.
“And who’s gonna stop him?” Raskin incited the crowd. “We are! We’re gonna stop him!”
Rumored 2028 presidential candidate AOC did her activism via a 90-minute Instagram Live.
The NY representative declared: “No Democrat should be voting to advance Trump’s nominees. We have a responsibility to block everything that is happening while they’re setting a literal match to the federal government and giving 19-year-olds access to the Treasury Department.”
By “19-year-olds,” AOC refers to the six young autists Musk hired to do DOGE’s investigative dirty work. Rumor has it Musk furnished the office with cots, sleeping there himself as the team works around the clock to uncover corruption at breakneck speeds.
DOGE must move quickly to achieve lofty goals ahead of its destined mid-2026 closure, not to mention meet both Musk and Trump’s extraordinarily high standards.
Dems on the defense
Meanwhile, Democrat-affiliated shills like propagandist Jen Psaki are running with the coordinated counter-narrative.
Psaki described the USAID ordeal as a “hostile takeover of the US government,” failing to recognize that more than half of Americans did indeed vote for DOGE to take a wrecking ball to shadow government corruption.
Psaki could be right about the hostile takeover. After all, we do intend to root out and prosecute the tax thieves and treasonous actors.
But why does cleaning up government waste make Democrats so upset?
Analysis of political contributions exposed the USAID workforce as 97% Democrat-aligned. Only $999 of employee donations went to the Donald Trump campaign while $241 thousand funded Kamala Harris.
“That’s because the Democrats are the humanitarian party of empathy,” I can already hear Liberals somewhere posturing.
If the agency’s expenditures were morally sound, I could possibly be convinced.
On the contrary, it appears employees used zero discernment or filtration in approval processes whatsoever.
Fox reports USAID and the Treasury Department have not denied a funding request in 22 years. Even funding for known “terrorists or fraudsters” was approved.
It’s a shame the average American citizen wasn’t aware of this hack. All it’d take is an LLC labeled “Fiscal Equality in Serbia” to get USAID to pay your rent, but I digress.
Some perceptive public servants had already caught on. Senator Joni Ernst told Fox she’s been “on USAID’s case for years now.”
Ernst was initially drawn to the agency to investigate humanitarian aid, primarily connected to the war in Ukraine.
“…what my team and I encountered was absolute obstruction and lies coming out of USAID,” she explained. “They did everything possible to stop me from accessing their records to understand where our taxpayer money was going.”
Now, what have we learned? All it takes to smoke out an agency’s pests is a pack of Musk protégés and a Trump Executive Order.
Fighting words
Of course, when you take an axe to a proverbial money tree, you can expect the serpentine beneficiaries to bite back.
Maybe that’s why Senator Chuck Schumer and Representative Hakeem Jeffries introduced legislation Tuesday to prevent “meddling” in the Treasury Department before taking to the streets to protest again.
Schumer led unenthusiastic chants: “We will win… we won’t miss!” He slithered away as the crowd opted out of joining in.
Jeffries (who Conservatives humorously call “Budget Barack Obama” for their stunning likeness in appearance, policy, and mannerisms) dutifully carried on the dictatorship narrative for his party.
“They are raiding the government, attempting to steal taxpayer money,” he said of DOGE, dripping with the unintended irony that stealing taxpayer money appears to be the literal function of USAID.
If DOGE is stealing taxpayer money from the bureaucrats who stole it from the taxpayers, does that make DOGE like a modern-day Robinhood?
The Trump administration has been hinting for weeks at abolishing income tax. Of the IRS employees hired under the Biden administration to increase taxpayer audits, the President recently said he’d either relieve them of their duties or send them to work on the border.
Musk put out a poll on X Tuesday asking if DOGE should audit the IRS with over 90% electing a variant of “yes”:
Judging by the public’s reaction to the Luigi Mangione case, the ‘99 percent’ unquestionably sides with Robinhood. Now it’s a matter of whether they can stomach to acknowledge the Democrats’ crimes.
In any case, President Trump doubled down Tuesday in response to all the noise: “I’d love to see what the kickbacks are.”
Calling the USAID “very, very corrupt,” the President clarified that he intends to investigate kickbacks rapidly. And it appears that Musk is on the same wavelength.
Scam mechanics
Musk shared a post on X Monday from user @Anc_Aesthetics who explains how USAID money laundering works:
Talked to a friend who has connections within the Democratic Party and he said the level of panic over Trump and Elon shutting down USAID is unlike anything he’s ever seen. By following the money DOGE has struck a killing blow to the heart of the Democrat deep state machine.
Direct quote: ‘This is worse than 9/11 for Democrats. USAID is the primary vessel they use to achieve their political agenda. USAID is and always has been the primary source of funding for their influence peddling schemes and for their indirect sources of income.’
Another text: ‘Based on the reactions from within the party it seems to me that dismantling USAID is Trump’s biggest political victory to date, it was his enemy’s golden goose.’”
According to this account, the step-by-step process is as follows:
- USAID allocates funds for a seemingly reasonable initiative
- Democrat-friendly NGO is contracted to fulfill the initiative
- NGO subcontracts “VIP”—another NGO owned by a Democrat or political ally
- The funds eventually reach the secret intended target
The contracted initiative is never fulfilled, so “they can continue to rinse and repeat this grift.”
What’s the taxpayer funding?
Without a thorough investigation, it’s near impossible to know where taxpayer dollars funneled through USAID are really going, but for posterity’s sake let’s say that initiatives are at least being partially funded as described.
Let’s explore a sampler of what our very own DOGE Robinhood has uncovered, from Iraqi television programming to virus engineering:
Abandoned jobs
We’ve already uncovered incomplete work as a hallmark of money laundering, so examples of such should come as no surprise. For instance, $249 million was sent to Afghanistan to build a road that would only be 15% constructed.
International media
In a gentler example, USAID funded Sesame Street programming in Iraq.
Aw, that’s nice. But why did it cost $20 million?
Argentine digital magazine Anfibia recently took to X to complain about Trump freezing their funding, though it’s unclear if support ran through USAID or another serpent head of government handouts.
Most shocking might be the $3.3 million sent to “BBC Media Action,” a charity tied to the UK state-funded BBC. The charity claims to be independent despite “cashing checks from multiple governments,” independent journalist Mario Nawfal reports.
Performing arts
Supporting the artists—that’s a warm and fuzzy thought, right?
Investigative citizen journalist @Shipwreckshow discovered that our government approved $200 million for “struggling musicians.”
These starving artists you may have heard of. Do the names Post Malone, Chris Brown, and Lil Wayne ring any bells?
Joni Ernst published some findings this week that uncover a cool $2 million funding Moroccan pottery classes, “despite the fact that Moroccans have been making pottery for thousands of years,” she says.
Meddling
The folks at USAID must feel some sense of entitlement to foreign affairs, as DOGE has exposed numerous counts of international tampering from $60 million to fund tourism in Egypt to bankrolling government coups.
Guatemala and Slovakia leaders have both spoken out about US influence to destabilize their populations and control their elections.
Meanwhile, USAID has put taxpayer dollars to work spreading woke ideology including $2.5 million to promote DEI in Serbia, $70 thousand for a DEI musical in Ireland, $47 thousand for a transgender opera in Colombia, and $20 thousand for drag shows in Ecuador.
“Horrified” Chileans have reportedly bowed to counter-culture leftist ideology just to keep the aid flowing.
Ukraine+
Oh Ukraine, the Democrats’ favorite washing machine.
How much of the $16 million USAID dollars funneled to Ukraine in 2023 went back into the Biden family’s pockets, I wonder?
Animal experiments
If you like supporting the Ukraine war, you’re going to love funding animal experiments that would make Cruella blush.
Citizen journalist @Shipwreckshow found that $2.3 million was allocated to inject beagles with cocaine.
Our government seems to have a fixation with cocaine, as USAID also funded studies that administered the drug to rats and Japanese quail.
Another fan favorite in government waste lore is the NSF-funded study that forced shrimp to run on a treadmill.
Safe sex
If you’re wise to the Globalist agenda, you know the importance of population control.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated last week that DOGE’s investigation halted $50 million on its way to fund condoms in Gaza and the Middle East.
Terrorism
The Middle East, specifically terrorist organizations operating therein, has been speculated as an ongoing beneficiary of USAID supplies.
Indeed, a November case found that $9 million of USAID funding was diverted to Al-Qaeda. Additional allegations include funding Hamas and the Taliban.
Human trafficking
Independent researchers have taken to social media to expose other exceedingly sinister operations stemming from USAID funds such as human trafficking.
Journalist Larry Taunton blew the whistle on USAID facilitating illegal migrant trafficking through Cartagena, Colombia one year ago.
Investigative documentarian Ryan Matta who focuses on the child trafficking crisis also directed attention to the NGO “Save the Children Federation,” which he says was raided by the AG of Guatemala for child sex trafficking.
Covid-19
Still, it gets worse. Among USAID beneficiaries include the illusive Wuhan lab where the Covid-19 virus was engineered through gain-of-research under Anthony Fauci.
The government not long ago admitted that the NIH helped bankroll Wuhan research, and we now know millions came from USAID as well.
Big Pharma
Unsurprisingly to anyone who watched Democrat Senators fall in line to protect pharmaceutical donors during RFK Jr’s confirmation hearing, Big Pharma is a shadow government sweetheart.
For instance, Pfizer collected over $4 billion in 2024, ranking as one of the top beneficiaries of USAID funding.
Bill Gates
Where there’s Big Pharma, you’ll find Bill Gates lurking in the shadows with his Globalist-affiliated depopulation agenda. Remember, Gates is the genocide shill who cited vaccines as a necessary depopulation tool in an infamous TED Talk.
According to journalist Lindsay Penney, the self-described “philanthropist” has received over $30M from USAID since 2012.
Gates’ grants have been filed under divisions like “Gender Equality” and “Global Growth and Opportunity.”
“Weird that a known CIA-front organization would receive tens of millions from Gates’ ‘non-profit’ org—but then again, Epstein was exposed as a state-run intelligence blackmail op and he got caught in their web,” Penney comments.
So we shouldn’t be surprised that Gates also spoke out against the controversy this week on The View.
“I’m a little worried, particularly with this USAID stuff,” he admits. “My foundation partners with the USAID on nutrition and getting vaccines out.”
Healthcare
Americans should know by now that our health is weaponized against us, as toxins in our food, water, and air contribute to making us the most chronically ill and cancerous nation despite having the “best” healthcare.
Rather than tackling the root cause of sickness, our healthcare system advances Big Pharma cocktail “cures” that create further complications.
This scheme allows Big Pharma, the Medical Industrial Complex, and healthcare insurance companies to profit and stay in business.
Sure enough, Musk confirmed Wednesday that Medicare and Medicaid “is where the big money fraud is happening.”
Wrecking ball incoming
This is only the beginning of disclosure. Many are bracing for impact as the DOGE team works to uncover and deliver much more well-deserved truth, transparency, and justice to the American people.
Functionally, USAID appears to operate as a key player in the Dem-controlled Deep State, the shadow government controlled by Globalist actors who intend to establish a one-world totalitarian government devoid of the American liberties we hold dear.
Patriots have no choice but to completely sever each and every Medusa head of this devious serpentine regime.
To Democrats, taking a wrecking ball to deeply embedded corruption might look like violence, but any self-respecting taxpayer can see eliminating extravagant fraud as our only path to freedom.
May the DOGE team of Robinhoods continue to illuminate the truth.
