Many people are familiar with the passages of scripture where the Lord caused Jeremiah to go down to the Potter’s House to hear the Lord’s Words:
“Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.
Then I went down to the potter’s house, and behold, he was working at the wheel. And the vessel that he was making from clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he made it over, reworking it into another vessel as it seemed good to the potter to make it.
Then the word of the Lord came to me: O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does? says the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.” Jeremiah 18:2-6
As every one of us, (who have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord), is a work in progress, many of these Sons and Daughters have felt like that vessel that was ruined upon the wheel of this life. We have experienced this kind of dynamic, either because of our own bad decisions, circumstances of this life, or because of the results of other people in our life, and therefore felt like a spoiled vessel unfit for use.
We’ve believed, that because of those events, that we’ve become unsalvagable and ruined, but the Hand of the Lord isn’t shortened that it cannot save, and that SAME HAND IS GOING TO RE-MOLD YOUR LIFE ONCE MORE!
“And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages. [To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed.] AND NO ONE IS ABLE TO SNATCH THEM OUT OF MY HAND. My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all [else]; and NO ONE IS ABLE TO SNATCH [THEM] OUT OF THE FATHER’S HAND.” John 10:28-29
Nothing can take you out of His Hands! Even if your life feels like it has been ruined Son or Daughter, you need to allow the Potter to Re-mold the Clay of your life into a Vessel of Honor to be used by His Hands once more!
Even if you feel like dry clay, (that’s been dried out by the issues that you’ve been dealing with), He’ll take the Water of His Word and work it into the dry places of your life transforming it into moldable clay in His Hands once more! You are a work in progress and you should always remember that…
“He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.” Philippians 1:6
