Let’s stop saying things like….
“This is your season of health, wealth, and prosperity – claim it!”
What if it’s not?
What if it’s a quiet season?
A season of solitude.
What if it’s a season where nothing great seems to happen.
A season where nothing seems to grow.
What if it’s a season where the Lord teaches us to live with less?
What if it isn’t a season of open doors?
What if it’s a season of doors being closed?
What if it’s a season of loss?
Is God still good?
Do we still praise Him?
Is God not great in all things?
He’s great in the valley.
He’s great in the darkness.
He’s great in the tears and the heartbreak.
This isn’t a word curse.
That nonsense needs to stop.
The God of Uganda is the God of America.
Abundance for some is a meal today.
They praise Him for the rain.
Do we?
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33 NIV
