What is Wealth?

We must learn to recognize what true wealth looks like so we don’t chase shadows.

True wealth isn’t measured by what’s in your bank account.

It’s not found in your shoe collection, designer handbags, family vacations, or the kind of car you drive.

True wealth, here on earth, is found in the simple and holy moments…

Quiet mornings.

Cuddling a sleepy baby.

Happy dogs and blooming gardens.

Dirty feet and laughter around the dinner table.

That is wealth the world can’t buy.

But the greatest wealth of all is stored up in heaven.

It is found in knowing Christ.

In a life marked by sacrifice, goodness, kindness, love, gentleness, self-control, and faithfulness.

We must learn to recognize what true wealth looks like so we don’t chase shadows, but walk in joy.

Because the joy of the Lord is our strength. Nehemiah 8:10
