The Pendulum of Fire

The mediocre life will keep you dry from within like a scorching desert.

What’s being revealed in this hour are those who truly carry the heart of the Father. While people gossip and bicker about prophets, pastors, and the perceived failures of the church—God’s pendulum is swinging! Righteous judgment is here. The lukewarm He spits out! It doesn’t matter how you present yourself for others to see—your Creator is looking into the depths of your heart. He sees the mediocrity, the sludge in the stagnant river of your soul. He’s knocking on the door of your heart.

It doesn’t matter what type of ministry you do, how much you do, or how gifted and charismatic you are. It goes beyond your ability to quote scripture or your faithfulness in church attendance. These things are good, but they don’t determine the temperature of your life. The pendulum is swinging! Hearts are being weighed! Many will be promoted as the changing of the guard begins. “But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)

Radical fire is about to fall on those who have consecrated themselves, laid down personal desires, and made an appeal to heaven. This fresh wave of fire will bring divine boldness, a holy roar, and a dance like David’s. It will carry a glorious light and an uncontainable passion for the things of God like fire shut up in their bones. It will create friction with the religious and annoy the cold and lukewarm. But do not stop!

God is pouring out incredible power and might. These people will ignite the lands where the harvest awaits, as God consumes the enemy and liberates souls. It will not look like the past—it will be different. Keep your heart pure and open to hear from heaven, for the rain is coming. Though darkness encroaches, God’s glory light is coming with a flame so hot that no darkness can quench it.

The pendulum is swinging! Lukewarm, wake up! Deception has come over many hearts, and Jesus is saying, “Arouse yourself! Stand up and WAKE UP!” As Revelation 3:16 declares, “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” He knocks, calling you to leave behind the sin, lethargy, and complacency. Open the door to Him, that you may dine with Him, fellowship, and know Him deeply.

Now is the time, because there is work still left to do. Let your heart be filled with Jesus and embrace the refining. miraculous work He desires to do. If you’re struggling, tell yourself I’m shaking this old me off! The mediocre life will keep you dry from within like a scorching desert. But Jesus came so that you may have life, that you would be filled with living water and baptized in Holy Fire. There is an invitation, one of restoration and intimacy.

Choose to walk with Him, and let His love and light transform your life. Be encouraged; for God is ready to do a new thing in your life. “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19)
