I was on my way to bed when The LORD said to look at this passage speaking of Hagar, the servant of Sarah, who bore Abraham’s first child.
This was not her fault because Sarah told Abraham to take her trying to fulfill God’s Promise to Abraham by means of the flesh.
“Then she went and sat down opposite him a good way off, about a bowshot, for she said, Let me not see the death of the lad. And as she sat down opposite him, he lifted up his voice and wept and she raised her voice and wept. And God heard the voice of the youth, and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven and said to her, What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the youth where he is. Arise, raise up the youth and support him with your hand, for I intend to make him a great nation,” Genesis 21:16-18 (AMPC).
When The LORD drew my attention to this passage, He said tell some Mommas out there that even though you’ve been cast out from your dwelling places, and you are now in a desert place — like Haggar was — through no fault of her own.
He is now hearing the cry of the children, and He has heard your cry for them!
He has heard, and He is making a place for them and for you! And He intends to give your children a place in the Kingdom!
“Yes, I have heard the cry of the children across this land, and I AM in the process of answering them and coming to their rescue, and I will place them in My Kingdom, whose end shall never be!”
“And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. And all thy children shall be taught of The LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children,” Isaiah 54:12-13.
