When I woke up on January 15th, I heard the Holy Spirit say: “It’s time for the eagles to leave their nests”. Then Lord then brought back to my remembrance a dream that I had in August 2010 which I titled “Young Eagles Arising”. It was a dream (encounter) that I’ll never forget. The Lord showed me how He was raising up “Seer prophets” and “Visionaries”. He showed me young eagles that were in a time of training, and He had a specific time for each one of them to be released. There was a woman who I believe was an angel giving me a tour of this ancient mansion. I saw young eaglets in wooden carts. One of them tried to peck its way out but when she saw it, she just giggled in amusement and gently put it back and said that it was not ready to be released.
There was a lot more revelation to that dream. That night after I recorded that dream, I went back to sleep and a couple of hours later I had another dream where I went back to that magnificent place. It was an ancient place, which now I realize may have been Solomon’s temple. It was surrounded by ivory mountains. I was talking to a Jewish man with a long robe and I saw the two ancient doors again and a podium with the inscription of Isaiah 45:1-3. There was anointed music playing which seemed to be coming out of the atmosphere. When I woke up I still heard that music playing.
The Holy Spirit often speaks to me in parables, allegories, dreams, and visions. When I think about some of the dreams and encounters that I had in the past, it gives me a desire to press in even more to receive such high-level revelation. Another time He showed me an allegory of a mother eagle hovering over her nest with her baby eaglet inside. Knowing that the eaglet came into full maturity and that it was time to fly, the mother eagle gently pushed the eaglet out of the nest. As the eaglet began to fall down, the mother flew down, caught it on her back, and then returned it back into the nest.
She did this several times until the eaglet learned to fly on its own. Each time she made sure that she caught the eaglet before it hit bottom. Eventually, the eaglet began to flap its wings and soar into extreme heights. The mother then returned to the nest and begin to disassemble it so that the eaglet could not return to its comfort zone. Just as the eagle knew how to build the nest, she began to take it apart piece by piece one stick and twig at a time. She had great expectation for the eaglet and knew that as long as it remained in its nest, it would never fly on its own. She knew that her little eaglet could reach unimaginable heights as she released it to go out into the world to fulfill its destiny.
The Holy Spirit is showing me that He is also calling many of you out of your comfort zone. He wants to take you to new heights that are impossible to reach in the natural, but attainable spiritually. He is speaking to some of you but you don’t recognize His voice. You may not be a prophet or even have a prophetic gift, but He wants to speak to every one of us. All we need to do is press in for that higher level of revelation that He has for us in this season.
Job 33:15-16
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction.
Isaiah 40:30-31
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 45:1-3
“Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held – To subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the Double Doors, so that the gates will not be shut: I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name am the God of Israel.”
